"Wait, shouldn't you stay to discuss the matter?"
I got dragged back even before I had a chance to get off my seat.
"That's not needed, I will pick it up along the way. After all, you will be the one who drags me on later."
"How convenient is that? It would be helpful if you proposed your idea. Why don't you?"
"Cut me some slack, Horikita. I would appreciate that."
I have to go out and cool my head, before anything. She has been torturing me with touching questions, which is of course, no need for me to give a proper response. Nonetheless, I don't want to stay, essentially.
I once again attempt to stand up and Horikita doesn't bother to stop me anymore. She averts her gradient red eyes to the center of attention in the class.
Now that I think it over, how long have I been acquainted with the person named Horikita Suzune, as well as the people I am so used to meeting with everyday? Is it just one month and a half? I always have mixed feeling about acquaintanceship and friendship, to the point where I would brainstorm my head.
But should that even matter?
Standing here at a window near the end of this corridor, I can still hear chatter and occasional laughter from the room, which implies that nothing much has differed since the first time around.
Human never run out of thing to chatter with each other, particularly, they seem to be hype about this new quest system that has been delivered out for roughly one month.
It did bring about pros and cons, the most apparent thing of the latter is that study schedule is a little messed up. As such, one or two group absent one or another day is just a norm.
Except for the first day of the week, though.
No one would absent that day, under most circumstances. If there is no valid reason, one will be put under severe punishment.
"Ayanokouji?"
"Sensei."
If I recall correctly, the staircase going up where I'm at is currently unusable. Which means, to come here, Chabashira-sensei must go pass the classroom.
"It's not that I'm curious, but now shouldn't you be in there?"
"What about you?"
"I will have to confirm the new division in class, as I'm pretty sure they won't leave the initial group formation alone."
"Sensei, may I ask one question?"
One question I'm not really pondering.
"You should have asked while I allowed. But, go ahead."
"These quests, are they meant to serve a particular purpose?"
"What do you mean?"
"Considering what you said, sensei; the main quest can be hard and dangerous. Taking into account the risk, shouldn't it better to let skilled caster do it?"
"You are skilled casters, if anything, just one or two levels below me or any other royal casters. The kingdom needs to utilize at the fullest of its resources. Do you want to know what class A main quest is?"
"It would be great if I did."
"I take it as a yes. Their quest is to hunt and seal down magical golems at an abandoned mineshaft. Just like you, they have been given the best idea of the nature of these golems, but even then, it may not yet tell everything."
