Chapter 10

"I did it Maya!" Hope said running into her dorm. "See, I knew you could!" she laid down on her bed relieved. "She's had a crush on me since she was 14" Hope says out of breath. As she messaged Josie the details, she imagined the date in her head. "I'm just going to ask if tonight is good." Maya had been staring at Hope for a while now, she looked confused. "What?" Hope asked looking up, "Nothing, I just...your happy and it's weird." Hope threw a pillow at her head. "Very funny, now shut up."

Whenever Josie got a notification, Lizzie sprinted over to see who it was from. This time, it was actually from her. "Ah" she screamed, throwing her phone across the room. "Is it her? It's totally her, I'm going to answer for you!" Her sister ran over to the phone and read the message aloud, "Hey Jo, I couldn't wait to have our date, so I was wondering if you wanted to have it tonight, I understand if you can't xoxo Hope. She included kissed Jo, you have to go."

Ding. "Is it her? Please say it's her Hope please." Maya said running over to the tribrid. "Sure, I'll meet you there at 8? X Josie" Hope read out to her friend. "Oh my god, kisses, you sent kisses, she sent kisses. Why are there so many kisses?" Maya was speaking faster than a vampire could run. "Funny to think that's what started all of this. A kiss." Hope said reflecting on that moment her and Josie's soft lips first collided. "Young love." Maya shouted, loud enough for the entire school to hear. "Ha ha, so funny." Hope responded rolling her eyes. "Do you ever stop rolling your eyes, li-" Hope interrupted her by standing up and walking out of the room. "Don't walk away please, I'll shut up." Maya called out to her. "I highly doubt that bro." Hope replied.

Lizzie dropped some clothes onto Josie's bed, "Ok so I was thinking Blake Lively but I realised your no Madchen Amick so I just grabbed whatever I wanted." Josie stared at her in confusion. "Just put the clothes on." Lizzie said quite literally shoving the clothes in Josie's face. "Okay and if this doesn't work I'll pick something else and something else and something else and, you get the point, but I am going to make you look incredible Josie." Lizzie shouted whilst Jo was changing in the other room, "Oh and by the way, Dad doesn't know your going on a date yet so I would tell him.

As Josie walked down the stairs of the school at 7:50, she walked right into her Ric, "Dad, hey, uh, what are you doing here?" He rolled his eyes, "Me and your mother literally own this school Josie, now tell me, where are \you heading to?" She smiled and tried to look for an excuse but could feel her dads glare piercing through her skull. "Ugh fine, I'm going on a date Dad, but trust me, I'll be safe, I'll come back by 12 blah blah blah." Josie said pushing past her Alaric before her even got to reply.
