Chapter 7

Hope was so nervous, the time was 6:45 and she had arranged to meet Josie and her sister in 15 minutes. Now that Maya knew she liked Josie, there was no way of stopping her getting them together. "Maya." Hope said in a whisper, "don.. don't say anything to Josie, will you? I just I-"
"I'm in love and I don't want Josie to know" Maya cuts in, "it's okay Hope, I won't tell anyone your secret" Hope smiles at her, her eyes shining in the moonlight.

Josie paces up and down in her room, shaking with every step. "Holy Christ, I can't do this Lizzie, I can't, I...I..I" "you need to calm down, oh shoot- Josie are you having a panic attack" Josie couldn't breathe, she was gasping for air. "Uhm, what should I do? MG?" Josie could hear someone outside the door, "MG, I know you can hear me right now, please help me, I don't know what the hell I'm doing!" Milton then strode into the room and ran towards Josie who was sat on the bed, "ok Jo, count to ten with me." As he started counting Josie could feel herself calming down slightly. She thought about the fact Hope had invited her and it's not like she was bursting into Rafael's room like she owns the place. "9...10" she sat up and drank a glass of water. Her swallow was so loud, even her dad on the other side of the school could hear it.

Hope sat up in her bed, it was 5 minutes until Josie was coming to her room, why was she so nervous? This wasn't a date, obviously, and she probably wasn't even going to sit next to Josie. She couldn't cancel now. "Maya. We should go now." She says acting calm, "are you sure Mikaelson, you looked stressed" this got to hopes head, now she was questioning if she was actually okay. "I'm fine Maya"

When they arrived at the room, Lizzie and Josie knocked on the door, Raf answered it. Inside were LED lights and he had got a range of snacks for a movie, "so, what are we watching?" Josie says, not hint of stress in her tone. At that moment Hope and Maya arrived behind them, Hope smiled and Josie smiled back, her cheeks flushed a bright red colour. They all lied down on the bed. And of course, as if the universe were rooting for Hope and Jo, they were next to each other.

"Okay, so we're watching, Mary Poppins. Don't ask me, Maya...Maya picked it." Maya rolled her eyes "it's a classic, boy" the movie started and Hope could feel Josie's eyes slowly drifting towards her. She decided to relax. Her head arrived in contact with Josie should and she pulled away. Only when Josie allowed her to put it back she did.

It felt as if they were dozing off to sleep. The movie has ended and they were all scattered across the room, Landon and Rafael in there beds. Josie sat up and looked at Hope, she couldn't sleep either. "Hey" she whispered, "let's go to my dorm." It was clear that Hope didn't need asking twice. It was hours past curfew and they couldn't get caught. They snuck across the room, Josie felt Hope's hand drift into hers. When they got back to the room, Josie looked Hope deep in the eyes. They reflected angles and demons, heaven and hell.

The rest of the night was a blur for her. She could remember her release but nothing else. When they woke up they were cuddled up in bed. "Morning Hope." She whispered in her ear. "Morning honey." She replied. Josie reached her arms around hopes waist and kissed her ear. "We should probably wake up JoJo."

(i deleted like 300 words cause my besties for life follow me and i've been putting deleting this chapter off 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺, basically they fucked, okay? right...HAHAH sorry i'm having a giggle also it's not all a blur only what happened after the forking.)
