Introduction

First of all a little warning: This story deals with serious topics such as domestic abuse, non-consensual kissing and depression. If this in any way triggers you, I advise you to skip this story. I've included trigger warnings in top of all of the chapters, but I might've missed something (feel free to let me know which warnings to include if that's the case).

I want to make clear that I in no way condone the actions of Ashton's boyfriend throughout this story and that his reasoning behind his actions are in no way justifiable - even though he believes he isn't doing anything wrong, he definitely is. I've really done my best at not romanticising his actions and I hope that it shines through in this story. He is meant to be portrayed as an abuser and thus a horrible person. Also if you ever find yourself in a similar situation or you're able to relate to anything, I advise you to be careful and seek help however you can.
