Cassidy POV

I wake up on a bed that is not mine, a room that is breath-taking but still not mine. All these unknown things are setting me up for a panic attack. The double doors swing open and I pretend to be sleeping.

“Sir, she is in great condition. It is all thanks to Miss Isabella,” a voice echoes throughout the room. “I know Benedict. Please leave me with her,” I hear Christians voice followed by the sound of doors shutting.

“I know you’re awake,” he practically growls. I open my eyes and sit upright. Theodora and Ursula will supply you with some clothes.

They will to until your wounds have fully healed. For now I suggest you rest,” he sounds very distant. Christian then attempts to leave the room.

“Wait!”

He pauses at my words. Slowly he turns around giving me a questionable look. “Is that it ,” I scoff.

Christian doesn’t respond as  watch him turn the door handle and watch him leave the room.

I hear the sound of laughter coming from outside. I get up from the comfort of the bed and make my way to the window. I part the curtains so that Iq could look at what was happening outside.

I see two boys chasing each other covered in mud. A shriek catches my attention. “Axel Hunter look at what you have done,” she gestures to her muddy dress while giving one of the boys a murderous look.

The mud is then replaced with water. They chase each other throwing the other wet with water.

I watch them curiously.  I recognize the boy with blondish hair and Auburn coloured eyes. “Axel?,” I whisper to myself.

I don’t recognise the other boy. His hair is pitch black.  I cant see his face because his back is facing me.  They all stop when one of the girls say something while pointing in my direction.  They all stare at me including him.

That’s when I see it. His eyes are an indescribable shade of light blue. I close the curtains. I have to get out of here. I look around the room for my shoes. Once I find them and put them on.

I open the door but instantly change my mind. I don’t know why I’m hesitating. Suddenly flashbacks flood my mind. Images of Bryson, Lyssa, Mr Colden and those guys with the red eyes. The students who snarled and looked at me like dirt stuck to their shoe.

I take in a deep breath and focused on my breathing. The door opens and I’m startled by the presence of a young girl with light brownish hair and bright green eyes.

“Hey,” she greets with excitement.

“Im Juliana, she introduced herself and I did the same. “So how about we get you out of this stuffy room?”

Before I could answer I’m being dragged out of the room.
