Colts POV
“How foolish could you be, Colt?” Morgan's voice snapped me out of my thoughts about a certain brown eyed girl. I almost forgot that we were arguing.
I actually had plans for today none which included Morgan. I plan to take Midnight out for a ride but their was a folk in my path. The folk being Morgan.
“Don’t you care about Axel and your other friends? Don’t you care about me?” Once again I am reminded of this pointless argument.
I wasn’t in the mood for her jealousy.
“Will you calm down,” I hissed at her. Her bantering was giving me a headache.
“No!” I raised my eyebrow at her. Clearly she was forgetting who she was talking to. There is nothing stopping me from ripping her head off her body.
“No. You need to stay away from her,” she changes her tone but I can still hear the fear in it. So delicious. There is only one person who would calm me and prevent me from submitting to my urges.
The whole reason why Christian allowed me within his cavern was to keep an eye on me. He knew what I was capable of.
Before I met her I was just a lifeless being. A monster who would kill just for looking at me the wrong way. My father’s very own killing machine.
He would always let me deal with the cowardice fools who would back out of their deal with the devil. I never complained because I loved it. The thrill and the power, especially when they screamed in agony.
But that all changed when I met her.
Throughout the centuries there were people who tried to keep us apart, even today. I was foolish enough to agree with Christian. He never approved of our love for each other from the very beginning.
“Why can’t you just forget about her.”
Morgan places her hand on my cheek and caresses it. This girl can’t take a hint. I mean we did fuck a couple of times but it was only so that I could forget about the pain that was eating me alive. It was either that or I wiped out the entire state creating a blood bath (well with that amount of bodies it would be more of a blood ocean). And I had already promised Christian I wouldn’t.
“ You know I can help you forget,” she whispers seductively.
No doubt Morgan was beautiful but she could never meat the standards of my Hana. She could make every angel in heaven jealous.
“You sucked at it before what makes you think you’ll be any better now?”
She pays no attention to my insult. “Why don’t you let me show you,” she says in a seductive voice. I roll my eyes and ignore her invitation.
“Where are you going?” She asks when I walk away. “I’m going to my horse,” I tell her.
“You and that damn horse,” I hear her mutter.
Midnight wasn’t always my horse. Heck I was against his arrival from the start. I made a promise that I would take care of him though. Eventually through the years I warmed up to the demon horse. On my way to Midnights stall a series of giggles catches my attention. Midnight is playing with Cassidy. It feels weird calling her this but it has to be done. Midnight must have missed her as well. He was sniffing her hair capturing her scent though I'm sure he has never forgotten it.
“You cheeky little devil.” She coaxed him like a baby (like she always did).
