Emperor Belos has been defeated for a second and final time. Belos is no more and no one rules the land of the Boiling isles with Belos's defeat the portal to the human realm was rebuilt giving the infamous hero of the land, Luz Noceda, her ticket home and her ticket back. As summer came to an end so did Luz Noceda's stay on the boiling isles. With a promise to return Luz leaves to the human realm. She told her mother about her adventures, showing the key and glyphs as proof of existence. This proof was not enough for Camila however. Camila believed that Luz is taking this whole fantasy phase to far and decided, In order to separate her daughter from fantasy and bring her to reality, to confiscate the glyphs and the key back to the boiling isles. Four years later everyone had given up hope of Luz's return. Everyone was upset but only two people took it the hardest. Edalyn Clawthorne, who thought of the girl like her own daughter, which might be truer then previously perceived, was depressed without the bubbly girl that would nag at her to teach her a new spell or to nag at her concerning the owl lady's safety. Amity Blight, who had a crush on the charming Luz Noceda, was upset at the fact that Luz possibly broke her promise to her and at the fact that she will never see her crush ever again. Luz Noceda however had it the hardest. It seemed to her that all hope was lost. She thought she'd never see her friends, Willow Park and Gus Porter, her crush, Amity Blight, her little brother like figure, King, her disturbing older brother figure, Hooty, her very protective older brother figure, Hunter, or her mentor and mother figure, Edalyn Clawthorne ever again. The reoccurring traumatic nightmares of the night her mentor/mother figure was almost petrified was just the icing on the sad depressing cake. Every night was the same. She'd wake up drenched head to toe in sweat with the nightmare of her mentors pain ridden face in a stone statue still vivid in her mind without having anyway to check to see if she ok, broke Luz more than anything. It wasn't until Luz's 18th birthday that hope was brought back at last. After a revelation from Camila, her and Luz got into a heated argument that resulted in Luz renouncing her sir name of Noceda, finding all of her boiling isles belongings, packed her bags, went to the tattoo parlor to get her glyphs tattooed on her hands (a light glyph in her leg palm, plant glyph on her right palm, ice glyph on the back of her left hand and fire glyph on the back of her right hand) to make spell casting easier, as well as some runes to help block off her only way back home (Bring into being, Healing, Love, Hidden, Truth, Desire, Journey, Home, which to me shall stand for Bring into being Healing, Love, and the Hidden Truth. Bring into being the Desired Journey home.) and made her way back to the boiling isles to find where she belongs and get answers to her questions. However the answers she seeks may be closer then she thinks.
