3rd POV

Luz woke up with a start. Jolting to a sitting position on the ground. She looked around at her surroundings. Merchants and stands were all around. The sound of feet walking across to each stand filled her ears. Her breathing was erratic and tears running down her face. She was on the boiling isles. The real boiling isles. 'I must've blacked out when I went through the portal' Luz thought as she tried to calm her breathing. Once she could breath normally again she looked at the key that brought her to this place to begin with. Clenching her fist around it she closed her eyes and concentrated on sealing the human realm away so she can never return. The runes on her arms illuminated a bright yellow.

"Lull of night commanding me
Triumph of lost ruins
Flags drift to the West
Forgotten as echoes pass
Last farewell silenced no more
Paradise caressed by love
Bring me to the home of which I adore"

Luz muttered the incantation as to not disturb the shoppers near by. Once it was done her arms returned to normal and she opened her eyes. Looking at the key she decided to test if it worked. Upon pressing the eye like button that would normally open the door nothing happened. She smiled. 'No going back now.' She thought. She pocketed the key and stood up off the ground, while dusting the dirt off of her clothes.

Looking to her left she found her suite case and upon opening it she found everything was just how she left it. She closed it, and picked it up. Now that she wasn't in panic mode she was able to take every sight into more detail. People were walking around seeming happier then ever. Belos truly is gone. And everyone was free to be there own witch. She saw some witches who were having fun teaching each other spells and doing just about everything.

Luz walked away from the market and into the woods. She reached a small clearing with no one around and figured this was good enough. She practiced to see if her spells still worked. Low and behold, they did. It was definitely different and difficult to get used too but after a little practice she got a hang of it. "It's like moving parts of your body" Luz said to her self. "The brain sends the command to activate one of the spell and seconds later they activate just like how the brain send the command to certain parts of your body to move and it does it seconds later. Huh, I'm actually comparing that kinda stuff. Something new happens every day." Luz chuckled to herself.

Once satisfied with the practice she made she took some time to relax her nerves for the first time since she got here. Laying on the soft but rough grass Luz looked to the sky only now noticing how late it was. She decided to call it a day and pulled her sleeping bag out of her suite case. Laying on it she stared at the stars in amazement. She pulled out the note from he biological mother. She read it and reread it multiple time not even getting a single clue as to who wrote it. She tried her hardest but with no luck. With a sigh, Luz tucked the note away safely into a pocket of her suite case. She got comfortable on her sleeping bag before shutting her eyes preparing for yet another sleepless night.
