Time had passed quicker than I expected. It was already turning night with both Gon and me laying on the dirt, for the millionth time.

My vision was blurry, and my lip had a deep cut underneath it, but that wasn't so much as to stop me. Gon had a completely swollen eye that he couldn't even open. My face was mostly fine except from my that cut and my left cheek.

Walking over to the girl was much harder now. My body was already weak from all that training, and now it was being beat down to a pulp.

Gon and I had been limping up to the girl when she suddenly yelled, "stop right there. Please go away!"

I smiled softly, and crossed the line at the same time as Gon, only to end up being flown back.

When we were flying in the air, it kind of felt nice.

Man, I'm all kinds of messed up for thinking that.

"Why won't you just give up?! You know it's pointless!" The girl yelled with bloodshot eyes. She was frustrated.

Gon ended up landing on his feet, but I collapsed on the ground again.

"Please stop them! You're their friends!" The girl yelled at Kurapika and Leorio, but was met with two faces full of dullness. "Why..."

They couldn't stop us even if they tried. And so, they didn't.

I wobbled up onto my feet and whispered, "what's the big deal, anyways?"

"We just came here to see our friend!" Gon finished.

"The only reason we're here is to see Killua!"

She gasped.

Gon clenched his fist up and and was running straight forward to punch her.

"So why are you making us go through all of this?!" He roared, and punched the stone pillar next to her. He punched right through, breaking it into tiny pieces.

He stood over the line.

I smiled up to him with sadness.

How come he still had so much strength left in him? While I'm down here about to pass out.

I managed my way into standing up, and glided over, stepping one foot over the line.

The girl was too much in shock to stop us.

"Hey."

I smiled brightly staring at my foot across the line.

"We crossed the line. Shouldn't you hit us?" Gon asked and she wielded up her weapon. "I can tell you're different from Mike. You may be trying to cover up your feelings, but you still have a heart."

"When we mentioned Killua's name, your eyes softened, just for a moment," I realized.

"Heh, she knows from her own experiences," Leorio teased, which I sent him a glare to.
