" it feels like his smile
and positivity, spread
onto others. It's weird
but I don't mind it because
it makes me feel at ease. "

" thank you, Killua. "

"The Milsy Wetlands, also known as Swindlers Swamp. We must cross it to reach Phase Two of the Exam. This place is home to the variety of truly bizarre animals, many of which are crafty, voracious creatures who deceive and feast on human prey. So please, be very careful." The Examiner Satotz announces to the crowd of roughly 400, Ive always been good at estimating.

"If you're deceived, you'll surely die." He points out. For some reason this seemed to hit a little too close to home.

'I've been fooled far too much, for it to ever happen again.' I think to myself.

The men all around started gasping and the exit door started closing just as a man was right there, almost making it through but not yet. He was reaching his arms out screaming to make it.

I knew I shouldn't have done this but I quickly run through and grab the man barley making it back to everyone. It happened so fast I don't think I even had time to think about my actions.

I set him down with a small smile. He didn't seem to comprehend what had just happened either and just started at me with disbelief. I then walked back to Gon, Killua, and the rest.

I felt a nudge and looked over to see Killua somewhat aggravated.

"What was that for? That would be one less person to worry about." He mutters quietly yet still loud enough for me to hear.

I let out a small giggle from his rough response. Normally I wouldn't have helped the man. But when I seen his face, so helpless and just wishing for that extra step, the thought didn't even take over my mind before I sprung into action.

"He tried his best, so I'm giving him a chance. Also, he most likely won't be a threat if he could barley pass through that." I explain.

Killua thought about it for a second until he sighed again. "Still, you shouldn't have helped him." He stated.

I just shrugged then looked back at everyone whose eyes seemed to be either laid on me or the man I helped out. Immediately I became uncomfortable and looked down to my shuffling feet.

"These Wetland creatures will use every trick in the book to fool their prey," Satotz says which makes everyone look over to him, leading the attention away from me.

'I'm glad he started talking, or else people would have probably started targeting me, or at least thought about it.' I sigh in relief.

"This is an ecosystem in which all creatures hunt by the art of deception. And that is why it's also known as Swindlers Swam." The man turns around, facing the Swamp. "Now then, please follow me closely so you won't be deceived."
