Interview

I woke up with discomfort and a groan.

"Man, what happened?" I asked with a raspy voice while massaging the back of my head.

I open my eyes to only see a back. More specifically, it was Gons back. He was carrying me.

"Y/N you're awake? Oh you won't believe what happened!" Gon exclaims and I jump off his back, starting to walk next to him. Kurapika was also carrying Leorio on his back right next to us.

My head still hurt, but I wouldn't want anyone to have to carry me.

"After you fell unconscious we all got the antidote and the lady had extra sleeping gas. I told her I could hold my breath for a while, and so after some convincing she finally agreed to let us use it so the snakes would all fall asleep. I ended up carrying everyone out and hence now here we are," Gon explains quickly and with enthusiasm.

I laugh from his quick explanation and give him a thumbs up, "good job! But wait, how long do we have before-"

"Phase Four of the Hunter Exam is now officially over!" The woman over the speaker informs us.

That was oddly right on time.

"Seriously, how long have I been out?!" I ask with oblivion.

Kurapika chuckled before the lady started speaking again, "all remaining applicants, please return to the starting point at once! You will be given one additional hour to make your way back. If you still haven't returned by the time that hour is up, you will fail the Exam,"She finished.

"Kurapika?" I ask.

"Hmm?"

"How long do you think it'll take to get back?"

"Well, at the pace we're going, it might take close to two hours," he says causing me to gulp.

"We should start jogging," I say and they both nod. "So, Gon, what'd you do with the two other people from the cave?"

"I left them outside the cave with a badge so they'd be found in the morning when they wake up. I kinda felt bad though because I took the ladies badge for Leorio," Gon answers with a frown. I frown to him before nodding, knowing where he was coming from.

A groan came from Leorio causing Kurapika to accidentally drop him. I gasp and mentally laughed from him falling.

Leorio groaned and sat up, looking around.

"When did we get here?" Leorio asks since he was passed out through practically the whole thing.

"Let's keep running, we'll explain on the way," Kurapika says. Leorio hesitantly agrees and so we explain the whole thing to Leorio.

"Ohh, nice going Gon!" Leorio exclaims and pats his head.

Gon smiles up to him while we continue our way through the forest. It was light out and probably around lunch time.

"Say Y/N, what have you been doing the whole week?" Kurapika asks bringing the attention onto me.

"Hmm, well it was pretty boring until I found Killua," I explain and he looks over to me with confusion.
