Jocks, bad boys, footballers (or soccer, it's just where I live, football is VERY popular) and all that rubbish.
Those are the definitions of cliché.
The guy that's the most popular in my school hasn't been to prison once, doesn't have a bad background, doesn't play any sport and is not a player. At least, I don't think I am...
Ok, maybe we don't have popular people in our school... But that's exactly what I'm talking about!
Don't make any popular group at all!
Maybe make some bullies, but in all the schools I have been to so far (I visit schools as a body popping instructor) are all in one group, including mine.
But people, these clichés just make your book less realistic, and I don't think anyone wants that, unless their book is about unicorns...
But boys aren't these jocks who play for popularity! We either love sport or we don't play sport at all.
The only sport I do is dancing, and you can't get that famous for doing that...
And just like I said in my last rant, not every 'bad boy' has motorbikes,
Infact, I'm just reading a book taking place in Manchester, where I live, and motor bikes are kinda rare here, especially since it's raining all the time.
Your welcome.
