3rd Person POV
Björn comforted Agnetha for as long as she needed to. Agnetha just felt so happy yet so overwhelmed with emotion at the exact same time and she just didn't know how to handle it. It was exactly a year ago this month that Jörgen and Peter had asked Agnetha if she wanted to write a song for A and she reluctantly agreed. Agnetha couldn't stop thinking about her beloved Björn and it led to her looking at the little box on the floor beside her bed which had a ton of pictures of her and Björn over the years and that's how I Keep Them On The Floor Beside My Bed came to be.
Little did she know, the song would bring her and Björn back together again and now here they were after having just got married again. It was like a dream come true and Agnetha especially just couldn't comprehend it and this explained her tears at the moment. She really thought Björn hated her and would hate her even more.
"I'm so sorry!" Agnetha exclaimed through her tears. "I'm so sorry! I shouldn't be crying right now! I'm just so overwhelmed!"
"Anna, there's nothing to be sorry about," Björn replied reassuringly. "It's ok if you're feeling overwhelmed. Just know that I'm here and same with everyone else and we will always be here for you."
"I love you," Agnetha breathed as her tears began subsiding.
"I love you too Anna," Björn replied. "Anyways, let's continue dancing."
Agnetha simply smiled as she and Björn began dancing once more to so many of their songs and other slow and romantic songs. The songs ranged from Right Here Waiting by Richard Marx to Waiting for a Girl Like You and I Want to Know What Love Is by Foreigner to I'll Make Love to You by Boyz II Men and even a lot of Agnetha's songs such as Wrap Your Arms Around Me and of course, I Keep Them On The Floor Beside My Bed, which was that one song that brought both Agnetha and Björn back together again. Just like how they should be.
Agnetha and Björn are soulmates and eternal lovers who will stay together forever. And it was a beautiful sight to watch as they were whisked off to their honeymoon in Mallorca, where they spent the next three weeks. After a loving honeymoon, Agnetha and Björn have been secretly married to each other ever since. Agnetha was never comfortable with revealing her relationship with Björn publicly and being the true gentleman that he has always been, he respected her wishes. Not to mention the fact that he felt the exact same way. He wanted to keep his feelings towards Agnetha private this time around but that has never stopped both him and Agnetha from somehow publicly expressing their love for one another in more ways than one.
Of course, something that both Agnetha and Björn desperately wanted was more grandchildren and it's safe to say that their wish was granted. At the end of 2016, Christian and Isabelle had a daughter named Nike together and she was just the sweetest little being. There was no doubt that both Agnetha and Björn loved their littlest granddaughter to bits. Agnetha and Björn also doted on all of Emma's and Anna's children as well despite the fact that Emma and Anna were Björn and Lena's daughters.
Speaking of Lena, however, she was still very good friends with Agnetha and Björn. It was better that way. As bitter as she seemed at times, it really wasn't the case. She was a grown woman who knew what she wanted and when those things had limits but this didn't mean that she and Björn will always be close for the sake of their children and grandchildren. Not to mention that both Agnetha and Lena have a lot of respect for each other and want to keep it that way. Years and years continued to pass and eventually, Agnetha and Björn were sitting at home one day sitting by their fireplace.
February 2021
Björn's POVIt was a brutally cold, snowy day outside and Anna and I were both sitting on the couch cuddling into each other and watching old TV shows and staring into the fireplace that was keeping them both warm in addition to the warm blankets that were covering us at the exact same time. It was an episode of I Love Lucy, which was a show that we both grew up with but we weren't really paying any attention to it. We were more focused on the fact that we were at home alone together as usual, cuddling into each other into the fireplace. Just like how we've always liked it.
However, I couldn't help but think about how far we've gone when it comes to our relationship. So much has changed over the years and they've all been for the better. Anna and I's love for one another is stronger than ever and I'm glad that we have been growing old together and watching all of our grandchildren growing together. It was like time was slipping through our fingers once more. It was just hard to believe that Tilda had just turned 20 the other day. She's now a beautiful young woman, just like both her Mama and Mormor.
I can totally see her being successful in life and chasing after her dreams. And she's already well on her way to doing so. Meanwhile, Esther's and Signe's birthdays are coming up. They will be 14 and 11 years old in the next few weeks or so and we as a family are all looking forward to that along with the fact that their mother, Linda, our oldest baby girl will be 48. I just can't believe it! Where has the time gone? Time just slipped away some more and I'm glad Anna and I have been cherishing those precious moments with our children and grandchildren. I mean little Nike is already 4 after all and let me tell you, she's one little energizer bunny for sure. She's a little girl who loves keeping everyone on their feet and for Anna and I, it's impossible for us to catch up because of our old age but we simply wouldn't trade it for the world.
"Björn?" Anna asked as she turned to me. It seemed like she was also lost in thought.
"Yeah?"
"Do you think we still would've gotten back together even if I didn't write that song all those years ago?"
"Of course," I replied. "Why do you think that?"
"It's just that we were destined to be together forever and I didn't necessarily think it would actually stay that way," Anna replied. "Especially after our divorce and everything."
"Well I think our destiny was going to happen either way," I replied. "Even if you didn't write that song. Up until then, we saw each other often because of the children and grandchildren plus we still had those feelings for each other. It was bound to happen, Anna."
"And I'm really glad that it did," Anna replied. "I don't know where I'd be right now without you."
Anna buried her head in my chest, just like how she always liked it and I began kissing her forehead a bit as I gently stroked her blonde hair. I held her close as I did so as well.
"I don't know where I'd be without you too Anna," I whispered as I continued holding Anna and gently stroked her hair. "You're my soulmate, my best friend, my rock, my treasure, my golden angel, and the love of my life. The stars have always aligned for us. We were destined to be together forever and here we are and nothing is going to stop us. At least not anymore. I love you so fucking much, Anna. Words just can't describe my love for you."
"I love you too Björn," Anna replied as she looked up at me. "Always remember that."
"Without a doubt," I replied lovingly as we shared a kiss on the lips and continued holding each other and cuddling into each other.
It was true love at it's finest and we couldn't be anymore happier together. Anna wrote a song for me that brought us back together and neither of us can be anymore grateful. It was our destiny and here we are fulfilling that one thing that was destined for the both us. It was true love, eternal love, and endless love. Just like that and just how it should always be.
