Tim and Dallas decide to try a new "love pill".

-

It was getting colder and colder by the day in Tulsa. Tim found it best to stay inside most days, whether it be with his irritating siblings or his ravishing boyfriend, Dallas Winston. However, he would use a not-so-cold day to hang out with his gang.

One day, they decided to have lunch at The Dingo, where one of the gang members successfully won a fight with a Soc.

"I'm telling y'all," he said, wrapping up his account of the fight, "He was no match for me."

"I bet," one of the other members said, taking a sip of his milkshake, "Say, I have a question for y'all."

"What's up, Tony?" Tim said.

"I wanna try this pill everyone's talkin' about with my girl. But she wants to know if it's safe or not," Tony said, "Has anyone tried it yet?"

"Oh yeah. That 'love pill'," a member chimed in, "Stacy wanted to try it, so I got one for her. And my god! Was she on me all fuckin' night!"

Tim raised an eyebrow. Consider him intrigued.

"Really?" Tony said, leaning forward a bit, "How did she feel after?"

"She felt okay. Just a little shocked by how strong it was," the other gang member said.

"Hmm," Tim hummed, causing all of the members to turn towards him, "Where'd you get it from, Red?"

"Y'know, that pharmacy a couple of blocks down from here," Red said, pointing out the diner window, "The guy over there will give you one, as long as you give him extra."

"Sounds good to me," Tony said, "Shit, I might go over there and get one after this."

Tim stole a fry from Red's plate as he replayed the conversation in his head. It sounded good to him as well.

Later that day, after Tim bid farewell to his friends, he made his way over to the pharmacy. He entered, the smell of magazines hitting him instantly. He made his way over to the counter, where a boy about his age stood behind the counter. He had a shaved head with an angry frown permanently etched into his face. He looked up at Tim, his black eyes piercing the latter's.

"Can I help you with something?" he said, clearly annoyed by Tim's presence.

"Hey, man," Tim said, placing his hands on the counter, "Do you, by any chance, have that 'love pill' everyone's talkin' about?"

"The regular one or the strong one?" the cashier asked, turning around.

"The strong one," Tim said, pulling out a few bucks from his pocket.

The cashier looked back at him and grabbed a box of the pill, placing it on the counter.

"Y'know, I would have to ask you if you're 18 or older, but we can skip that part if you pass me a couple of extra bucks," the cashier said, smirking at Tim. (he is 18, btw.)

With a stoic face, Tim handed him five dollars. The cashier counted each one and was clearly satisfied by the exchange.

"Alright. Have fun," the cashier said.

Tim arrived home, hiding the box of pills in his pocket. He opened the door to see Curly and Angela fighting over the remote for the television.

"Tim!" Curly shouted, looking up at the older man, "Can you tell Angela that I had the remote first? She clearly can't get that through her thick skull!"
"Shut up, Curly!" Angela snarled, prying the remote out of her brother's hands.
