                                                          (Y/n's POV)

It was the next day. I shivered, stomach turning. I was nervous to see Tsukishima again. What if he was really mad? Noya had said something about him destroying people... that kid made me nervous.

I looked up from my shoes, making sure to cross the road safely. When I had made it over I looked around, hoping to find somebody who looked familiar. Like maybe Noya, Suga, or that nice girl from my first class yesterday. Unfortunately, the only person I saw was Tsukishima and his friend that had run after him yesterday. It was Yamaguchi, right? I was totally going to butcher his name if I tried to say it out loud.

I looked away from them, deciding to head straight to class even though I was going to be pretty early. But I was stopped. "Hey y/n!" Tsukishima's friend yelled. "Wait up!"

I turned. "Uh, hi Ya, Yu, uh..." I struggled to say his name.

He smiled good-naturally. "Don't hurt yourself. You can call me Yams or whatever. I know my name is hard for foreign exchange students to pronounce."

I blushed. "Thank you. Sorry."

He waved his hand through the air, blushing a bit. "Don't worry about it. Anyway, Tsuki had something to say to you." He pulled Tsukishima forward, who was moodily staring at the ground.

My eyebrows raised. "He does?"

Yams shoved his elbow into Tsukishima's side, and he pushed him away, glaring at him and rubbing his side. "Yeah, uh," He stuttered. "Sorry about yesterday."

I was shocked. This mysterious blonde was apologizing to me? "Uh, thanks." I paused, and then added, "How come you were listening to me play?'

Yams elbowed him again, and he scowled. "I like music. You're good." He turned around and walked off, clearly meeting his limit of social interaction. I heard him scoffing, like he was pissed at himself for actually apologizing.

Yams sighed. "Sorry, he was kind of being a jerk."

I shrugged. "I mean, as long as he apologized I suppose it's ok."

He sighed again. "Well, see you around y/n. See you at lunch?"
My eyes widened. "I can eat with you guys at lunch again?"
"Yeah, of course! The boys are starting to grow to like you."

"Uh, wow, thanks! So should I just meet you guys at the same spot as yesterday?"

"Yup!" He waved and sped off after Tsukishima.

I sat down in my seat, pointedly ignoring the tall blonde next to me. Two could play this game.

At about the end of class he randomly said, "Your knee is scratched up."

I looked down, caught off guard. Oh yeah. From yesterday. "Oh yeah. Noya tackled me yesterday."

"He what?" He asked dryly, probably determined to show no emotion. He couldn't fool me though. I could see the shock in his liquid gold eyes.

"Yup." I leaned over and picked up my pencil, which had fallen to the ground. "I almost got hit by a car. He saved me." When I was back up his eyes were wide with surprise, but he quickly banished the look.

"What a shame it missed." My mouth dropped open. Was he trying to be funny, or just being an absolute jerk? I didn't find out. The bell rang before I could say anything, and he had disappeared.

I cantered over to the grassy spot that Noya had led me to yesterday, and I was relieved to be greeted cheerfully. If they had even given me one wrong look I would've bolted. "Y/n! Come sit by me!" It was the funny loud guy. Tanaka.

"Uh, sure!" I walked over to him, sitting down in the grass. The boys were all sprawled out leisurely, and I couldn't help but notice that Tsukishima wasn't there.

Thoughts of him were chased out of my mind when Noya plopped down on the other side of me, playfully hitting my shoulder with his. "How's it going so far, little first year? Need me to beat anybody up?"
"Hey! How come you don't ask about me?" Hinata whined, pulling a face at Noya. I decided to not point out the fact that I was hardly any littler than he was.

"Cause I know the only one that would bully you is Kageyama, and you let him." Noya said, casually throwing a grape into his mouth.

Hinata's mouth opened and closed, trying to decide on something to say. "I do not!" He finally settled with. He turned to his friend. "Is that true Kageyama?" Kagayama just silently drank his milk, rolling his eyes.

Tsukishima finally walked over to us, alone, giving me the evil eye and sitting down. I gave him the stink eye right back. What was his deal?

"Where is Yamaguchi?" Suga asked.

"Eating with his girlfriend." Tsukishima put his headphones on, blocking us out.

All of the boys started gossiping about Yams girlfriend, and I started to get uncomfortable after a while. They all seemed so comfortable and familiar with each other. I felt like I was intruding.

"Oh hey y/n, I forgot to ask!" Noya said, jumping up, blushing a bit. "Daichi and Suga are watching a movie at the end of a week for date night and invited me to double with them. Do you wanna go?"

Ah ha! I could tell there was something going on between the boys with the dad and mom vibes. How cute! And how was I already being asked to go on a date my second day here? This was kind of overwhelming. "Uh, sure! I'd love to! Where is it gonna be at?"

"Just over at Suga's place."

"Ok, sounds good." Noya grinned mischievously at me. I returned his grin. He was super energetic and nice and I loved it. Not to mention as hot as the sun.

I turned back to my food, and noticed Tanaka giving Noya an evil look. Noya stuck his tongue out at him, and Tanaka got up and chased him around on the grass. I smiled. It was sweet to be fought over, and the way they interacted was fun to watch.

While they horsed around, Daichi and Sugawara asked me questions about myself, with their tall friend with the man bun (I think his name is Asahi) listening in. I answered them all and asked them questions in return. I was happy to find out that it was super easy to talk to them.

Once lunchtime was over Noya and Tanaka walked me to my next class, flirting with me and teasing each other the entire way. It was kind of refreshing.

By the end of the day though, I was exhausted. These boys were hard to keep up with. Especially Tsukishima. His mood swings were giving me whiplash.
