(Y/n POV)
"Y/n! There you are!" I was still standing in the hallway, glancing around for Tsukishima. What had that been about?
"Y/n!" I turned toward the voice. It was Noya. He was running towards me, waving and grinning. I couldn't help but smile when I saw him. "I've been looking all over for you! Can't have the wise upperclassman let his beautiful younger classwoman eat alone, now can we?"
I laughed. "Hey, Noya."
"C'mon," He said, reaching me and grabbing my hand, towing me along behind him. We ran past other students, who were pointing at me, whispering about how I was the new foregin exchange student. I blushed, but then chose to ignore them. It was whatever.
For such a small person, he seemed to run awfully quickly. We sprinted through the school, getting yelled at multiple times by teachers, but we were out of sight before they could identify us.
We ran outside. I breathed in, inhaling the fresh air and drinking in the emerald grass. Being inside all day always seemed to suffocate to me.
"Hey Noya!" Somebody greeted, and we turned to the side, seeing a group of guys sitting in the grass pulling out their lunches. And have I got to say, holy hotness.
The majority of them were tall. They had well-defined muscles. One gray-haired guy had this cute little beauty mark by his eye. And the kid sitting next to him had these impressive calves. And oh, there was this moody looking hottie sitting on the edge of the group next to this sunshiny kid with an infectious smile like Noya's. There was one guy with long hair pulled back, and another with these beautiful amber eyes... Oh. It was Tsukishima.
I frowned at him and he looked down at his lap, picking up some food and putting it in his mouth, purposefully not looking at me. I opened my mouth to say something to him but was interrupted by the guy with the calves. "Hey Noya, who's that?"
"This is y/n. She's a first year foreign exchange student."
"Oh cool! Hi y/n, I'm Daichi Sawamura. You can call me Daichi." He smiled sweetly at me, and I couldn't help but get dad vibes.
"And I'm Sugawara Koshi!" The gray-haired kid with the beauty mark who was sitting next to Daichi said. "You can call me Sugawara or Suga." He gave me a sweet smile too, and I couldn't help but get mom vibes from him. Strange.
I also noticed that he and Daichi were awfully close together, and I wondered if they were dating. I didn't know them, but I could tell they would make a cute couple.
All of the other kids started introducing themselves at the same time, shouting out their names. I tried to keep them all straight unlike them pfft The sunshiny kid was Hinata I think. And his moody pal was... was it Kageyama? And the kid sitting next to Tsukishima was Yamaguchi, I think? And then there was this one really loud kid named Tanaka. He was funny. I think I remember Noya saying his name earlier.
They all introduced themselves. Well, everybody but Tsukishima. "Tsuki, introduce yourself," Daichi said, leaning over Suga and lightly punching Tsukishima's shoulder.
Tsukishima gave him a glare. "What was that for?" He asked, indignant.
Daichi seemed a bit taken aback. "Just introduce yourself Tsuki."
Tsukihima looked down at his lap. "She knows who I am," He grumbled.
They all looked at him, then to me, and back to him. I frowned, going to cross my arms but realizing Noya was still holding my hand. I opted to stay put, liking the feel of his hand in mine. It was relaxing. But I was still irritated with this moody blonde kid with the gorgeous eyes. "Yeah, I know who you are. You're the kid who rudely ignored me at the beginning of the day and walked in on me playing the piano, only to stare at me and then leave the room without a word. You're Tsukishima. What's your deal? Did I do something to irritate you, or are you just naturally rude?"
All of the boy's mouths dropped open. "Uh, I wouldn't do that..." His friend with the freckles said, looking nervously back and forth between Tsukishima and me.
Tsukishima glared at me, getting up from the grass, long legs raising him up. Shit, he really was huge. We walked over to me, looking down, eyes narrowing. I felt very small. He opened his mouth to say something, then stopped. I raised my eyebrows at him, daring him to speak. He seemed frustrated. He turned and walked away.
Yamaguchi scrambled to his feet and ran after Tsukishima, slinging their bags awkwardly onto his shoulders. He tripped over his own shoes, stumbling towards Tsukishima's tall frame that was striding angrily away.
Everyone was silent. Then I felt Noya release my hand, and he started skipping around. "Wow! I've never seen somebody get that close to being destroyed by Tsukishima and getting away with it." I huffed.
The audacity of that blonde kid. I could already tell I wasn't going to like him.
All of the other boys jumped to their feet, coming towards me and slapping me on the back enthusiastically. I almost fell over. I don't think they know their own strength.
The little sunshiny kid was leaping through the air. "You have to teach me how to do that some time!" He yelled. Tanaka cackled and agreed with him. Even the dark haired gloomy kid seemed surprised.
"Did Tsukishima actually do those things?" Sugawara asked, brow furrowing.
"Well, yeah," I answered, starting to feel more relaxed around this group of hotties. Noya certainly had good taste in friends. Well, except for Tsukishima. But he sounded like he didn't particularly like him so...
"That kid needs to grow up!" Suga said, clearly irritated.
Daichi laughed. "You know, I think you would fit in with this ragtag group of volleyball kids," He told me.
My eyes widened. "You guys play volleyball? I love volleyball! I mean I don't play it, but my friends at home do and it's so cool! I love to play sports, but I've never tried this one."
SIlence again. Then suddenly, "C'mon Noya! You always find the best ones!" Tanaka yelled. Noya simply laughed evilly at him.
