(Y/n's POV)

"Uno!" I yelled, slapping my card down. The boys groaned, dropping their cards.

"That's the fourth time you've won! This is rigged!" Hinata yelled, jumping up and pointing at me accusingly.

I raised a brow at him. "How do you cheat at Uno?"

He stopped, processed, and then opened his mouth to talk, but Kageyama interrupted. "You're just a baka! Baka Hinata!"

They started fighting, and I giggled. I felt a warm hand envelop mine and I looked away from the squabbling children, my eyes meeting Tsuki's bright amber ones. "Want to take a walk?" He asked.

I laughed. "Sure. Just help me up please." He stood up and watched me swing my legs out from underneath my hospital sheets. I held out a hand, and he grabbed it, pulling me to my feet. Then he handed me my crutches, made sure I wasn't going to fall over, and then held the door open for me.

"What a gentleman," I commented, hiding a smile.

His face didn't change from a toneless blank sheet. "No, you just can't get through the door without my help. You're hopeless without me." He closed the door behind me, leaving Hinata and Kageyama (still fighting) and Yamaguchi and Yachi talking in my hospital room. I'm pretty sure Yachi was still grilling him about his breakup with his girlfriend.

"Hopeless?" I scoffed. "Oh please, you're the one that's hopeless without me."

He didn't say anything to that, so I turned to look at him and his cheeks were dusted a light pink. I couldn't miss the opportunity to tease him, but unfortunately, I had gotten distracted and one of my crutches caught on the edge of a rug.

I pitched forward, almost face-planting, but Tsuki's hand enveloped around one of my arms, stopping the fall. He placed me back on my feet, steadied me, and then started laughing. Hard.

I blushed, embraced that a carpet had gotten the better of me. "Oh shut up Tsuki. You've never laughed before, why start now?"

He snorted again. "You should've seen the surprised look on your face," He chortled. I whacked his leg with one of my crutches.

Tsuki and I eventually found our way to the hospital roof, after roaming the hallways of the massive building, cracking jokes and making up stories for the staff. For one girl we made up a story about how she was secretly a spy, only working here so she could get info on her target, a middle-aged man who had mysteriously broken his leg two weeks ago. The disgruntled look on her face as she pushed him around in a wheelchair almost had me believing it.

Tsuki let me off of his back as he pushed through the door, gently setting me on my feet. The stairs had been too hard for me to manage with my crutches, so he had been forced to carry me. I had completely enjoyed the trip.

"God y/n, have you been putting on weight?" He asked, pretending to look out of breath.

I gasped, whacking him with a crutch again. "Tsuki, that is so rude! Especially because you're the one who ate half of my lunch!"

He laughed, throwing his head back. I drank in the sight, enjoying how he let himself be free around me. He never laughed that much around anyone else.

"Let's go sit over here," He said, gesturing to a bench. I nodded, following behind him. We sat down, listening to the birds chirping.

We sat in companionable silence for a while before he broke it. "How much longer do you have?" He asked.

"Four days."

"Only four?"

I leaned back. "Yup. I can't wait. The two weeks I've been here has been two weeks too long."

He sighed. "Agreed." We lapsed into silence again.

I sensed something, so I turned to look at him. He was staring at me, but he quickly looked away. "What do you want?" I asked.

He scoffed. "Nothing from you."

I rolled my eyes. "Uh-huh. Sure. Then it probably wouldn't interest you to know that I told Noya I didn't want to go on any more dates two days ago then, now would it?"

His shoulders stiffened. "Really?" He asked, trying to not sound interested.

"Yup. Told him that I like someone else."

"And how did he take that?"

I paused, thinking back on it. Honestly, he hadn't looked too surprised. He had just looked down at his feet, nodded, and then looked back up at me like he had been waiting for it.

"Pretty well. He said that that was OK."

"And who is that you like?" I stood up, leaning on my crutches.

I looked down at him, smiling. "Now that's for me to know and you to find out, now isn't it?"
