So a little note before I start this chapter, up at the top is Enzi, I drew her myself, and it's not the best but I'm hoping to get better with time. Her hair highlights were an experiment, and I think they kind of worked out. I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who is voting and leaving great comments on my book. Lance's POV
Keith's screams only got louder as his contractions became closer together and and more intense. I could only hold his hand as he squeezed mine so hard I was afraid it would break. That didn't matter though.

"Coran! Is there anything you can give him for the pain?" I asked Coran.

"I'm afraid not my boy," Coran replied with a sigh, "All we have are super strong pain killers for Alteans that could make him go numb, and if we want him to deliver this baby with no problems, he can't be numb I'm afraid."

I huffed a frustrated sigh, "Thank you, Coran."

Coran went to check Keith, to see if he was dilated enough to start pushing, "Keith, I think you may be able to start pushing so that this baby can get out."

"Hey, Keith, it's okay, take deep breaths. Ok? Make sure your breathing." I said as calmly as I could as Enzi must've escaped her uncle Shiro and busted through the room.

"Papa! What's wrong with daddy? Is he okay?" She said loudly, running over to the bed where I sat clutching Keith's hand.

"Oh! Enzi what are you doing here? You're supposed to be with uncle Shiro." I slightly winced from Keith's iron grip on my hand as another contraction hit.

"I heard daddy screaming and I wanted to make sure he's okay. Is he okay!?" Enzi shouted over Keith's screams.

"Yeah he's okay, but your little brother or sister is coming now, so why don't you go find Uncle Shiro and we'll come get you when their here." I said and patted her head lightly.

She quickly glanced back down at Keith, then ran out of the room hopefully to her uncle Shiro. I looked back to Keith, to see him looking up at me with teary eyes.

"You're doing great baby, just a little longer alright?" I told Keith, trying to sooth him with a gentle touch to his cheek.

"Wh-why'd you send Enzi away? She can stay if she- ngh- w-wanted to." Keith said breathlessly.

"Are you sure? Do you think she would be okay?" I asked not quite sure how hectic it would be once the baby was born, or how Keith or the baby would be after the birth.

"I'm sure she's gone through worse, Lance." Keith said a bit bitterly due to the pain he was going through.

"Okay, I'll ask Shiro if Enzi wants to come back in." I said, pulling out my communication device Pidge made a while ago, when Keith began his sixth month.

"Hey, Shiro, does Enzi want to come back in? Keith says he thinks she can be in here if she wanted." I asked Shiro. There was a bit of crackling on the other side, and then I heard Enzi's voice.

"I'm coming back papa!" I heard a smile on her voice. I felt a small smile crawl it's way back on to my face, then Enzi and Shiro quietly entering the room.

"Hey, how's he doing?" Shiro asked.

"He's relaxing a bit right now, the contractions are getting worse, they've made him exhausted already so every time one ends he trying to rest in between them." I explained to Shiro as I watched Enzi clamber up on the bed next to Keith, and he brought up a tired hand to rest on her head and ruffle her hair a bit.

"Okay, at least he's getting breaks in between. Just, take good care of him Lance, I'm gonna go so that there isn't too many people in here." Shiro said, turning around and walking out the door quietly.
