Keith's POV
Life with Enzi has been easier than I expected. Probably because she is the sweetest little girl in the universe. We had recently set up a twin sized bed in my old room, because my room was conveniently right next to Lance's. We had to put on one of those mesh guard things on the edge of her bed, because she kept rolling off the bed in her sleep. (I did too since I was like 7 and I would wake up on the floor confused as hell😅😂)

This morning I woke to Lance nuzzling the top of my head, my face buried in his chest. He had his arms wrapped around my waist, I felt so warm, and comfortable. I really don't want to get up right now.

Lance started to stir, "Mornin bootiful," he said all mumbly, and groggily. "Morning babe," I said, but my voice sounded all scratchy. I cleared my throat and lance tiredly giggled at me.

"Are you okay babe? You seem really tired." I stated, seeing Lance almost drift back to sleep.

"Yea I'm fine just couldn't sleep well last night..." Lance said drifting off back into sleep.

Why is that? I thought we both went to sleep at almost the same time. I'm guessing that helping paint Shiro's door really did make Lance and I tired.

I let Lance sleep a bit more, and left a note on my night stand so that we wouldn't be worried about me when he wakes up.

I went over to Enzi's room, and knocked slightly on the open door as I stood in the door frame, "Enzi, wake up and get dressed for breakfast, okay?"

Enzi sat up in her bed and I went over to sit on the edge of her bed, kind of to just say good morning, and give her a hug and kiss good morning.

"Morning daddy... why do I feel tired when I just woke up?" Enzi yawned. "Well, either you went to bed too late last night, or it is just way earlier than I thought because I didn't check the time. Probably the first one though if I know you."

"Oh yeah! Me and papa were planning on telling you... wait I'm not supposed to tell you! Papa said it was a surprise!" Enzi said excited at first but it dwindled into a doubtful voice, but it turned excited again.

"Oh did you and papa stay up past your bedtime?" I said softly but sternly.

"Y-yea..." Enzi said quietly.

"Did you at least have fun?" I said light heartedly.

"Yes!! It was so fun cuz we played games, and thought up really good ideas on how to surprise you!" Enzi said with her usual happiness.

"I'm glad you had fun with your papa princess, but you should probably get more sleep. I don't want you to be cranky." I said while tucking her back into her bed.

"Mhm good night daddy." Enzi said while drifting off into a peaceful sleep. I gave her a kiss on the top of her head, and went to go get dressed.

I wonder what Lance is planning? Maybe like a date before the baby is born, because from everything Shiro, mom, and Kolivan have told me is that babies keep you on your toes. Not enough sleep, constant screaming, changing diapers, things like that. I'm sure it will all be worth it though. I smile slightly as I rub my swollen stomach, getting dressed into Lance's big shirts, one of the only things that would fit me because we haven't been to the space mall to really get any clothes except for that one time we were going baby shopping and didn't really get clothes for me.

I walked down the halls to breakfast, a hand gently placed on my baby bump. As I walked through the doors, Pidge noticed my lovely boyfriend and cheerful daughter were not with me. "Oh hey Keith, where's Lance and Enzi?"

"Well, they stayed up together too late last night planning something and so they are getting an extra hour of sleep." I chuckled.

"Ooh what are they planning? Can I cook food for it?" Hunk asked as his usual cheery self.
