Meredith's POV:
I am officially one month pregnant! Thanksgiving was amazing and we are now planning a get together with everyone for Christmas well mainly the close family. Mark is excited for the new baby. The twins have been fighting over what the gender is Amelie thinks it's a boy and Lucas thinks it's a girl. Mark and I don't really care we leave that debate for them.
"Meredith!" I hear someone call.
"Oh Derek hey what's up?" I respond
"Mark wanted me to come ask how you are doing. He was pulled into surgery." He says
"Oh well I'm ok I think. Tired. But ok." I say
"Good! So where are we on Christmas and new year's?" Derek asks
"Um well we were thinking going back to the cabin since there is a big yard and the twins and everyone loved it." I said
"I'm fine with that. I still have to go shopping but I've been stuck at work and wedding planning. Oh! If we go to the cabin who all would come with us?" Derek asks
"Um well whoever wants to come from your side of the family, me, mark and the twins obviously. But besides that maybe Thatcher, Susan, Molly, Laura, and possibly Cristina. She doesn't know if she's gonna be with Owen they keep going on and off." I tell Derek
"Ok!" He says
"Meredith!" I turn and see Lexie coming my way.
"Lex! What's up?" I ask
"Nothing much. Hi Derek and are we going to the cabin again for the holidays?" Lexie asks
"Hi Lexie and so far yes but we have to check with everyone to see who all is coming to see if we are gonna get a smaller cabin." Derek says
"Oh yay! I love the cabin. Besides being sleep deprived because of someone." Lexie says looking at me.
"We weren't that loud and I'm pretty sure that won't happen again. I'm way to tired." I say
"Good." Lexie says
"So what do you think the gender of the baby is?" Derek asks me
"I don't really have any idea." I say
"I think it's a girl! Then Lucas will be a big brother to both girls!" Lexie says
"No its a boy. Then Lucas will protect Ame and Ame will be there for the new baby to teach him stuff since she will be mature being the only girl." Derek says
"You guys are weird" I say
"Your weird!" Lexie says
"Anyway what are you guys doing today?" I ask them both
"Nothing much just trying control my interns." Lexie said
"Haha that takes time." I say
"Like I said wedding planning. Rose wants big yet simple. I don't care but how the hell do you do big and simple like it's one or the other! How did you do it mer?" Derek says
"Well mine was easy because Mark and I like the same things and we look good in casual. We just choose traditional simple and decorated." I said
"Your wedding we very nice! Maybe you can help Rose!" Derek said
"Thank you and only if Rose wants me to if not I'm not!" I said
"Why!" Derek whines
"Because you idiot I'm your ex. You want your ex to help plan your wedding with your fiancé!" I say
"I still don't get it." Derek says
"Your right he is an idiot. Normal people aren't friends with their ex let alone have kids with them so it's weird if you suggest that Meredith help Rose, but Rose can ask her if it's her idea because they have no connection besides you so it makes it less weird." Lexie said
"I still don't get it ,but I won't ask Rose or ask you I will let her come to the idea herself." Derek says
"See that's what we meant." Lexie says
"Ok good because I still don't get it but that's close enough." Derek says

I need ideas like drama or something and I need when I should do to lead up to it and set up the story line for it. Again help! What should the gender of the baby be? What should the babies name be?
