At the hospital...
Mark's POV:
Today is the last day of Meredith's 1st trimester and I wanted to celebrate it. I know it's cheesy but she is carrying my child! I have to whole night planned.
"Hey babe!" I say to Meredith
"Hey haven't seen you that much." She replied
"I know but I have a surprise to tonight." I told her
"You do?" She responded
"I do so after your shift is over don't worry about the twins I have them covered just meet me in the lobby!" I said
"Ok so the twins won't come with us?" She asked
"We won't see them until we are home then I have a little surprise for them." I answered
"Ok! See you tonight. Love you!" She said walking away
"Love you too! Be safe!" I respond

At the hospital...
Meredith's POV:
My shift was almost over, I just had to finish a few things, then I can go to my surprise with Mark.
"We are almost done el bell just a few more minutes then we can go see your daddy." I said rubbing my abdomen.
"Dr. Bailey! I'm done with post op notes. Do you need anything or can I go?" I say
"Your free to go Grey. Have a good night." She says before walking away.
I quickly change into my street clothes then head to the lobby. When I get off the elevator I see mark holding flowers and sitting in the lobby. I don't know how I got so lucky.
"Hey!" I say giving him a kiss.
"Hey gorgeous!" He responded
"I'm not gorgeous I'm regular right now." I say
"Your always gorgeous to me." He responded
"You really know how to make my day." I say
"Of course I do. Are you excited for tonight?" He asks
"Very."
"Good now let's go."
We both jumped in the car and headed to the ferry boats.
"Ferry boats?" I asked
"Yep. Just wait you will see." He responded
We got out and jumped on a ferry boat.
"You are the love of my life, Meredith Grey. You are also carrying my child. If you told me this is where I would be a few years ago I would call you a liar and here we are now and I call you my wife, best friend, and lover. Since it's the end of the first trimester today I wanted to treat you. Soooo... we are gonna go get ice cream from the car and your gonna open your first gift." Mark said handing me a little box
"Mark your so sweet. I live you so much!" I said. He replied with a short but passionate kiss.
"Oh my god Mark it's gorgeous!" I said as I opened the box and say a necklace.
"It reminded me of you and then I just bought it!" He said.
"You are amazing!" I said
"Now let's go get that ice cream shall we?" He said grabbing my hand and started leading me back to the car.
"How did the ice cream not melt?" I asked
"Because I had it in the hospital all day." He responded. When we got to the car he opened the back and handed me a tub of ice cream and got two spoons.
