Chapter 9: Human Again

Glenn's POV 

" Oh, hello!" I say spinning around for the fire to lit. All of the furniture start to attack the intruders. I look over to see the coat rack putting up his coat hanger hands at the red coat guy which I quickly found out that his name is Ron. But I watch Ron push Noah, probably his best friend in front of him. He hits Noah multiple times and turns Noah around to see Rick land right on top of him. " Ron! Ron. Help." Noah says looking up at Ron holding his hand out for help. I swear he would've helped his friend, but he shakes his hand no and looking up towards the stairs.  I knew what he was here to do, he was going to kill Carl. Hopefully Y/N gets here in time to stop him. " Sorry old friend. It's hero time." Ron says walking up the stairs to look for Carl. " Ooh, ouch!" Rick says. I felt kinda bad for the guy. All he wanted was to have some help.

Y/N's POV 

Papa got the carriage lock off and we got out quietly and quickly. I ran over towards (h/n). And got on him and wait until Papa says the signal sentence. I see Negan look at the carriage he walks towards it and sees that both of us are gone. Papa appears behind him and looks at him. " Hello. Oh, uh... I believe this is yours." Papa says handing him the lock. I flick the reins on (h/n) and go into a gallop. I turn my head towards Papa and he signal me a farewell. I turn my head back in front of me and gallop towards the castle, but not before I take off the yellow ball gown and toss it to the ground. I just hope I can get there and save Carl in time before Ron kills him.

Glenn's POV

Rick gets off of Noah and I watch as Maggie swipe her feathers over Noah face. " No one to protect you now, huh?" Maggie says before flying off giggling. I laugh at what Maggie just did. She is a total baby. I look over to Judith throwing plates at the intruders. " One, two, three, four...five, six, seven, eight..." Judith says sending the plates at the intruders that were in her sight. I look up to see Hershel, Carol and Michonne up the stairs. I can't believe it, Michonne is out of the room. This is awesome. " Good show, Judith, my dear. Excellent! The infantry's arrived. Now, go and teach them a lesson. Go." Hershel says to the books on a table.

They fly down towards the intruders an some of them duck some of them hit them hit their targets. " Yes, those are called books, you third rate musketeers." Hershel says to the people who just got hit with a book. I looked to see three men with swords in their hands and they looked just like musketeers. This isn't going to be good. " Oh! I'm off. Just a clock." Hershel says backing away from the three men. Michonne steps in front of Hershel and dress all three of them. " Come here... little boys. Yes! beautiful! Go, be free! Be free. Be free!" Michonne says. The two guys on the left and right run away screaming, but the one in the middle just walks down the stairs all beautiful like. I laughed at this and Michonne throws Carol onto chandelier and Carol starts pouring tea on the invaders. " How do you like your tea? Piping hot? Or boiling? Oh! Henry!" Carol says looking down at a gentleman. I watched as Carol fall from the chandelier and screams. " Carol!" Judith yells out as she watches her mother figure fall and looks down worried that she's going to break.

As she gets closer to the ground someone changes her. I breath in a sigh of relief and look to see who caught her. It was Noah. " Thank you! Take that! Nicely handled!" Carol says kindly to him. Noah nods his head in gratitude. Then they both get back to fighting the others. I look over to see Rick hitting around lots of people. " Such sweet music. Stand back." Rick says looking at anybody who would dare attack him. A woman with an axe looks over to Rick. " Silence that harpsichord!" Clothide says pointing her axe at Rick. " What? Uh-oh!" Rick says looking around in fear. I look up to see Michonne looking down at Rick. "Rick!" Michonne says happily seeing Rick. " Daring! At last!" Rick says happily. Michonne gets up onto the railing and down at Clothide. " This is it! The fat lady is singing." Michonne says. she jumps from the railing and lands on the floor, it knocks Clothide off of her feet and sends her flying.
