I've Got Proof!

*Dans P.O.V*
A couple minutes later, the ambulance arrived. They took April from my arms and loaded her onto the ambulance. She was still uncontious. Only 2 people could go with her. So me and Hope got in the ambulance and Phil and Caleb followed behind. I sat down and put my arms around Hope, and I let her sob into my neck. We got to the hospital within a matter of minutes. But as soon as we got there the paramedics ran her into the building straight to the ICU. Phil and Caleb hadn't arrived yet. So me and Hope stood at the ICU window with crappy cups of coffee, watching April get wired up to all these different machines. I started crying now. She looked so helpless, drowning in cables on a hospital bed. A couple minutes later, a nice nurse with dreadlocks in a bun came over and said 'You can come in and see April now, but no more than 3 at a time.' We smiled in her direction and slowly walked into the room. In there, was April. She started blinking her eyes open, and some nurses helped her get propped up. She smiled at us and gave us a huge hug, but her eyes were expressionless, just like a robot.

*Aprils P.O.V*
The next thing I remember after collapsing was waking up in a hospital bed with Dan and Hope next to me, years running down their faces. I smiled at them and gave them a hug. But on the inside, I felt exactly the same. Dead. I looked at my wrists and saw they were bandaged up. I looked like the friggin Michelin man. Suddenly, Phil and Caleb burst through. I gave Phil a hug, but stiffened when Caleb wrapped his arms around me. He had on the same shirt with the lipstick mark on it. I winced as I saw it and lied back down in my bed. 'I feel pretty tired, I'll talk to you guys later, ok?' 'Sure.' Phil said softly. But Caleb looked hurt, and held back the tears as he waved goodbye and left the room.

'Hello miss April Waters, we would like to ask you some questions.' A nurse with dreadlocks said. 'Ok.' I began to sit up but winced in pain. They helped me out of bed and got me into a wheelchair. 'So, why did you cut?' 'Ummm...relationship issues.' I mumbled. 'Have you cut before?' 'A very very long time ago,when I was about 12.' I stated. 'Are you depresses?' 'Yes.' I sighed. 'Do you take prescribed medication for it.' 'Yup, 2 pills a day.' I said, rattling my purse containing my pills. 'Okay, well. We would like to change your prescription to a stronger medication. And luckily for you, this one tastes better.' The nurse smiled sadly. 'Ok.' I answered robotically. 'We're going to discharge you in about 3 hours, once we've got you you're new pills. Okay?' 'Yup, can I go see my friends now?' 'Yes.' So the nurse wheeled me out to the waiting room where everyone was waiting nervously. The nurse pushed me next to the guys, and we started talking. 'They're gonna release me in about 3 hours.' I smiled awkwardly. They all came and hugged me. I gave Caleb a side hug then pushed him away. 'Whats that about?' Dan asked. 'We actually need to talk.' I said. So Caleb wheeled me into my room with a bag in his hands.
As soon as we were alone, I broke down again. 'April, you didn't let me finish last time.' 'I doubt there's anything important you've got to say.' I stuttered in between sobs. 'Well, a girl came on to me in Forever 21, and I tried to push her off but she dug her fake nails into me!' Caleb stated. 'What were you doing in Forever 21?' I asked. 'I was buying you this.' Caleb said as he pulled the gorgeous dress I had seen out of a bag. 'Oh, Caleb.' I said softly. 'I also have proof that I wasn't cheating on you. On the way to the hospital I stopped at the shop and asked for the camera footage. Watch it for yourself.' He grabbed his phone and started playing a video of a skanky ass girl coming on to Caleb. By the end, I was in tears. 'I'm sorry April, I didn't ever want things to come to this. But now you know that I wasn't cheating. Will you take me back?' 'Who said we were ever over?' I smiled genuinely and passionately kissed him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and snuggled into his chest. I was still depressed, still hurt, but a lot less now.
