Of course! It just had to be the guy I bumped into at the counter. 'Well,' I said to myself, 'THIS is going to be an awkward hour.'
I looked away awkwardly and bit my lip. Caleb took off the design above my ankle and put that antiseptic stuff on my leg. The cool gel made me shiver. He then got the needle out, dipped it in the black ink, and started the outline of the tattoo. I hadn't had a tattoo in a while. And the sharp pain took me by suprise. My whole body tensed up, including my leg. I couldnt help but look at Caleb. I turned back around and saw his deep blue eyes staring at me. Almost as if he liked me...No. Of course not. He could NEVER like someone like me; my alarmingly bright hair, my not-so-great sense of style and my many,many,many tattoos. He probably went for the small,petite,blonde type of girl.
'So,' Caleb stuttered, 'What are you gonna do today?' (Classic conversation starter.) 'We'll probably end up going to the London eye.' I said. 'But I'd much rather go to the little record store on the corner...You've probably never seen it.' 'No, I love that shop!' Caleb announced. 'Who's your favourite singers?' 'It's gotta be the striped army.' I said. 'My absolute favourite band of all time is the Striped Army!' Said Caleb, pretty shocked. We continued with our conversation for the rest of the hour. It turned out we had alot in common! We both had a birthday in December. We both spend at least 3 hours on YouTube and Netflix every day. And we lived 2 streets away from each other.
My tattoo was finished. I was kinda sad because I loved talking to him. He handed me a small piece of paper folded in half. 'Use it when you get home.' He said. I was a little confused. Until I was in the resteraunt with the gang and decided to open it up. It was his phone number...
