He ripped his hand out of my grip and pulled me against him roughly, hand slipping down and grabbing my ass tightly, another weird noise coming out of my mouth.

'I want to break you.' He whispered and my eyes widened. 'I want to make you do horrible things, I want to do horrible things to you.' His voice was so dark, his eyes had a terrifying look in them and I swallowed. 'I just have this feeling sometimes and it makes me want to hurt you, to wreck that innocent look about you.' His words scared me but...

'It's okay.' I whispered and he looked shocked. 'It's okay... if it's you.' Tears were forming in my eyes as he tugged tighter on my hair, the bell rang and he shoved himself away from me. I panicked, my heart was racing too much and I ran out of the stairwell and all the way to class.

'Took your time, where's your friend?' Jaxon asked as I took my seat, I shrugged and looked up as Lincoln ran into the class, everyone looked at him like he was insane but never looked when he looked back, except me.

He stalked all the way back to his seat before leaning over and pulling on my sleeve, causing me to nearly fall into him.

'We're going to talk about that later.' Was the only thing he said to me before the class started and I tried to concentrate but he... Am I really suffering from Stockholm syndrome? Who says it's okay to let someone hurt them? The bell rang and Jaxon walked with me until I split off to head to calculas. The equations helped me stop thinking about Lincoln until I found him waiting in my spot in the library. He stood from the chair and walked over quickly, he grabbed me and kissed me harshly, I pushed back but he pulled back and kissed me again, I gave in and kissed him back until he stopped and pulled away to look at me.

'I won't hurt you, not on purpose, I just needed to tell you that when I get angry I want to hurt you so please be careful around me when I'm angry. I couldn't live with myself if I hurt you like that. Run away from me when I'm like that.' I let a breath out in relief before hugging him tightly, arms wrapped around his chest, face pressed firmly against it. His hand run through my hair and he held me tightly.

'I...' I mumbled but I didn't know what to say. I pulled back and detached myself from him.

Lincoln sat at the base of the chair as I sat in it with my feet over the arm and read while he studied. Occasionally he would look up and ask me a question about the work or he would ask if I was okay. I found my fingers stroking the base of his neck, the shorter hairs of his undercut feeling nice as I ran my fingers over them gently, I only stopped to turn the page and then I went back to it. The bell for lunch rang and Lincoln put his things into his bag before standing and pulling me out of the chair.

'You need to eat, let's go.' He ordered and I nodded putting a bookmark in the book and putting it back in the shelf. 'What do you want to eat? I'll get you lunch today.' He said as we sat down at a table, being one of the first people in the cafeteria.

'It's okay, I make my lunch.' He looked at it and nodded before walking off, leaving his bag on the chair next to me.

'This is surprising!' Someone said and I looked up to see a group of the guys walking over.

'You're never the first one here, you're usually the last!' Anthony laughed as they all took up seats at the table. Jaxon sitting by my right, I was happy he didn't try and sit in Lincoln's seat, that would have just caused trouble.

They started a conversation, some going up and getting food, Lincoln walked back with a tray and he put a jelly cup in front of me with a soft smile.

'You must be Lincoln.' Jaxon said, it didn't sound friendly the way he said it though as he leant across me to shake Lincoln's hand.

'Yes.' He said unhappily as they shook hands.
