He didn't say anything as he drove me home, only reaching across and taking my hand in his, he kept quiet as we pulled in the drive and he followed me up to the door. He followed me around saying nothing as I checked on the steaks defrosting in the sink and started on the vegetables. He watched me carefully and as I put the vegetables in the oven he pushed his face into my neck and his hands wrapped around my waist.

'Why are you sulking?' I asked letting my hands cover his.

'I'm reflecting on the things I did to you.' He muttered and I sighed out.

'Come on, we should really clean your hands up before they get infected.' I took him back to my bedroom and went into the bathroom to get the disinfectant and swabs. I started and he sat quietly watching me until I finished.

'I should do yours too.' Lincoln said quietly and I shook my head but he gripped my wrist and pulled me down to my knees between his. He trapped my legs with his and pulled the jumper up and over my head. My heart fluttered as his hands glided over my skin. He sucked in a deep breath and I looked at my shoulder to see the bite marks were dark purple, blood still marking covering the bites. 'Shit, I'm sorry.' He muttered pulling me to my feet and onto his lap. He picked up the cotton swabs and disinfectant. I gripped his shirt at his tummy tightly as he wiped the swab against my shoulder.

'There baby.'

'It stings.' I whispered as I pushed my face into his shoulder.

'I know, I'm sorry.' He kissed my cheek and lay back holding me tightly. 'I'm sorry that I hurt you so much.' He kissed my temple and I let my body tighten against him, pressing my face against him harder.

'Stop saying you're sorry.' I said and moved my hand up to his chest.

'I can't.' He whispered and took hold of my hand, he gripped my thigh and rolled us so he was on top of me and kissed my chest. 'I can't promise that I won't do those things to you again, and next time I might do worse, so we shouldn't, you should leave me. If you tell me to leave, tell me not to be with you any more-'

'Stop it.' I brought my free hand up to cup his face. 'Stop, I don't want you to go away again, it hurt but most of it was in a good way, and... and...' My eyes became watery and tears slipped down the sides of my face. 'I don't want you to leave me again. Thirteen years of not seeing you...' I reached my other hand up and traced the edges of the scar under his eyes. 'Not being there for you.'

He took my hand and kissed my fingertips.

'Don't worry about this, it happened a long time ago.'

'But you said you go to therapy.'

'I do, but I know that when I tell you about this you're just going to cry more and I've made you cry enough today.' He kissed me softly, it was nice, nothing like the harder kisses he usually gave me. 'I should head home, dad will want to talk about what happened at school. There's a practice tomorrow for football, will you come and watch?' I nodded as he stood and pulled me to my feet, his hands running over my hips. 'I'll take you home after practice.' I nodded and he took my hand as we walked out to the front door where he stopped and kissed me, before kissing each one of his bite marks on my shoulder gently. 'I'll buy you a new shirt later too.' I nodded and he kissed me once more before walking out and I closed the door before going back and showering, reapplying the disinfectant and pulling a dark shirt on. I sorted dinner out and dad walked in, dropping his things by the door and sighing out, letting his shoulders drop as he looked at me.

'Hey, how was your day?' I explained to him that Lincoln hit Jaxon in the face and dad wasn't overly happy about it.

'Do you know what happened to his mum?' I asked and dad looked at me surprised.

'Pardon?'

'Lincoln doesn't like talking about it a lot, he says he doesn't want to make me cry, but I know that what ever happened with his eyes probably had something to do with his mum, he said that she wasn't with them any more.'

'I do know, or I've heard stories, but I think you should wait until Lincoln is ready to tell you himself.'

I nodded and dad headed to bed while I did the dishes and my homework before going to bed my phone dinged and I looked at it.

I love you, btw.

I looked at it for a moment before the contact name made sense. Impregnator. That idiot somehow got into my phone and said he was the impregnator.

You can't impregnate me I'm a boy. But I love you too.

I didn't receive any messages back after that and went to sleep, going through the usual routine besides checking my shoulder wasn't infected, the wounds had scabbed now so I wouldn't have to worry as much. I headed to school and found Jaxon standing by my locker.

'Hey.' He said and I nodded. It felt awkward. 'So Imma just come out and ask it. Are you and that douche dating?' I looked at him but kept quiet. 'Not that it's a big problem just, if you are I have to be nicer than I planned and if you aren't then I can still kind of be an asshole.' I took a deep breath.

'Please be nice to him.' He groaned out and pushed his face into one of the lockers.

'I hate it, but fine. I won't go around telling anyone either, it's not my business or theirs.'

'Thank you.' I said as we headed towards homeroom.
