"Sir, I don't mean to wake you but is Willow in there?" Dustin's voice spoke.

There was no reply. Willow slowly opens her eyes to see where she was. She once again woke up in Sawyer's room. Sitting up she saw Sawyer still in bed asleep.

Knock! Knock!

Sawyer stirred.

"Captain," Dustin spoke.

"The boat either be sinking or under attack, Dustin," Sawyer growled sitting up in his bed," if it's neither you better have a good explanation as to why you are waking me up this God damn early."

"It's because I'm not up doing my chores yet," Willow said.

He turns his attention to her. Not looking from her he speaks to Dustin," she'll be out in a few."

That must have been enough for Dustin because the next thing Willow knew she could hear him grumble a few words and then walk away. Drawing her attention to Sawyer she watched as he climbed out of his bed. She couldn't help but stare at him. Every time she saw him without a shirt she was greeted by tattoos and muscles. It was like the gods had blessed this man with not just good looks but a perfect body.

"Do you like what you see?" Sawyer asked teasingly.

Willow knew she was blushing now that she had been caught staring at him.

"I should be going," Willow said getting up from the couch.

"Hold on," Sawyer said.

Willow stopped and stared at him.

"I was told yesterday that you were looking for me," Sawyer said," when I came to my room you were already asleep."

"I didn't mean to fall asleep in here," Willow said," and I know I'm not allowed in here without your permission I'll ask next time."

"No it's fine," Sawyer said," now why we're you looking for me?"

"Oh, it's nothing," Willow lied. She couldn't tell him that after everything that has happened being in his room or around him made her feel safe. That the fee times since her nearly drowning she has been stuck along in a few rooms with Dustin. Those few times she was trapped by him he either tried beating her or worse. She didn't want to break the trust Sawyer had with his first-mate. But by the look, he was giving her she knew he wasn't buying what she was telling him.

"Fine," Sawyer said," but you can come to me if somethings bothering you."

"Thanks," Willow said," but I really should go start my chores."

Sawyer said nothing more, instead, he gave her a nod of understanding. Handing him the blanket she woke up under Willow made her way to the deck to start sweeping. It wasn't long until Treasure spotted her.

"So what's up with you and the captain?" Treasure asked.

"Nothing why?" Willow queried.

"This is the second time you've slept in his room," Treasure started," and he seems to have grown a little protective of you."

"Okay me sleeping in pups room were accidents," Willow said," and I have no idea what youre meaning by him being protective of me."

"He didn't tell you?" Treasure asked confusion all over her face.

"Tell me what?" Willow asked.

"While Eleanor was patching you up he went back and killed those men that attacked you," Treasure informed.

"He what? Willow asked not believing what she just heard.

"He. Killed. The. Men. That. Attached. You," Treasure repeated slower.

"But why?" Willow asked.

"I don't know," Treasure said," it surprised us all when he came back with some blood on him."

Not carrying if she was finished sweeping or not, Willow made her way back to Sawyers' room. Knocking on the door she heard a grown and then footsteps on the other side

"This better be important," Sawyer growled opening his door.

Looking down at her he closed his mouth before he said anything else. She also took note that it wasn't even noon yet and by the looks of it Sawyer had gone back to bed after she left.

"I didn't mean to wake you," Willow apologized.

"It's fine, what did you need?" Sawyer asked.

"Why did you go kill those men that attacked me?" Willow asked.

"They welcomed themselves on my boat," Sawyer said," I don't like it when people welcome themselves on my boat and break it."

"Oh..." Willow said sadly.

"Why do you ask?" Sawyer asked.

"Oh, no reason," Willow lied. It felt like her heart was breaking. But why? It's not like she liked Sawyer. He kidnapped her and for a long time kept her prisoner on the boat. He has threatened to sell her a few times. But he also helped her. He taught her how to fight and defend herself with a sword, saved her from drowning, told her he wasn't going to make her go home and allowed her to have freedom where her parents didn't.

"Is there anything else?" Sawyer asked.

"No," Willow whispered.

"Okay then," Sawyer said with a yawn," then you might want to get back to work unless you want Dustin to bark orders at you some more."

"Yeah, sure thing, pup," Willow sadly said walking away.

She didn't hear him close the door so she knew he was watching her walk away. Before she could make it back to the deck Dustin appeared. He didn't look happy.

"What were you doing?" He questioned.

"Oh, I thought I missed something down here while I was dusting," Willow lied, she didn't want to really say why she wasn't on deck sweeping.

"Really because I don't recall you having to dust the halls today," Dustin said taking a threatening step towards her.

"Oh really, I could have sworn I had to dust the halls today," Willie said backing up.

"You know I don't understand why the captain doesn't just get rid of you already," Dustin said," your nothing more than a distraction."

"Um, Dustin," Does' voice spoke.

Both of them turned to look at Doe.

"What?" Dustin asked

"Well we know better than to wake the captain up," Doe said," but there is a problem.

"We?" Willow asked," if your applying 'we' to be you and Joe then where is your sister?"

"Trying to fix said problem," Doe said.

"What's the problem?" Dustin asked.

"The problem is... You know I don't remember," Doe said," must not be important now that I can't remember it."

"Then go find your sister," Dustin said.

"Okie Dokie," Doe said skipping off to find her sister.

Willow took this opportunity to make her escape. Taking off quietly she made it back onto the deck and went back to sweeping. Dustin must have figured that he wasn't going to get a word from her on where she has been. Doing her best to dismiss the horrible gut feeling she had about Does supposedly problem.
