Two weeks had gone by since Sawyer had tried to kill the twins. It still felt like a dream. Willow had never seen anyone get that mad before. It still surprised her that out of everyone she was the only one that Sawyer listened to. Surely he would have listened to someone he's known longer.
"Hey, Lizzy whatcha thinking about?" Violet asked.
"Hu, who?" Willow asked looking at Violet.
"Umm... you, " Violet said giving Willow a weird look.
"Oh sorry, I guess I was in my own little world, " Willow said rubbing the back of her neck sheepishly. She had forgotten that the others didn't know her real name.
"Okay, but do that when youre done with your morning chores, " Violet said.
"Oh sorry, " Willow said going back to her sweeping. She had finished sweeping the deck some time ago and had moved to the hallway that held the doors to everyone's rooms. She let her mind wander again as she swept. Her mind wandered from her job to what her life was like at the castle to what it is now. Not realizing it a small smile crept onto her face, and she started to hum a little tune to herself.
"Someone seems to happy with sweeping, " a male voice said behind Willow. Instinctively Willow jabbed her elbow into the gut of the person and spun around jump kicking the person in the face. The man stumbled back but didn't fall to the ground. Instead, he just stood there hunched over, and held a hand to his face. Taking a closer look Willow just realized that she just hurt the captain.
"What the hell do you think you're doing sneaking up on me like that?" Willow questioned Sawyer.
With a grunt Sawyer straitened. He moved his hand from the front of his face and Willow saw all the blood. She had managed to break his nose. Sawyer didn't seem that bothered that Willow just broke his nose instead he looked at her with a smirk.
"You got a good kick, " Sawyer said. He sounded a little funny do to the fact that his nose was broke.
"Are you okay, " Willow asked, " I didn't realize that it was you."
"I'll be fine, " Sawyer said, grabbing his nose again he put it back into place with a crack. Some blood dripped down his nose do to the movement, but it quickly stopped.
"What we're you humming?" Sawyer asked sounding a little less funny.
"Oh, nothing really just a little nonsense, " Willow said going back to her sweeping.
"Very well, " Sawyer said, " when you're done go feed the prisoners."
Willow nodded her head in acknowledgment. A week ago they had attacked another boat and took some as prisoners along with the actual prisoners that were on the other boat.
Walking down to the cells of the boat Willow looked at everyone. Not many looked like someone that Sawyer would want to try to sell but others looked exotic and well kept. She wasn't sure what he planned to do with any of them but was glad she was not the one in the cell. He still had not told anyone what his plan was for her, but as long as she got to roam around freely she didn't care. She just wished that he would let her do more than sweep or mop, she would watch Eleanor and Treasure cook. Sometimes she would even catch Sawyer in the kitchen making himself something to eat while everyone was napping. She would love to learn how to cook, for she was never allowed in the kitchen back at the castle. There were actually a lot of things that pirate life got to do that she never did. And she wanted to do everything.
"Miss please you have to help us, " one of the prisoners said.
Willow stopped handing out food and looked at who spoke. Nothing about him screamed out that he was of importance but she decided to go along with what the guy was saying.
