Zulina's life had been set in stone the day she was born into the pack. Hair as pale as the moon, eyes as blue as the ocean's tide. She was considered a rare gift from the Moon goddess herself within her pack. About one out of fifty children born in...

The gentle caress of the evening breeze felt almost numbing against Lina's face. She sat upon a smooth rock beside the lull of the crashing waves. Time seemed almost nonexistent as she watched the horizon. The Sun began to vanish into the watery endlessness she stared at. Eventually the stars began to awaken. She could feel the Silvery eye of her mother staring down upon her back as the Moon rose.
She could feel the sorrow the night held but it was nothing compared to the void she felt within. Arlo hadn't spoke a single word within her mind since she woke up on the island three days ago....Three days.
Over seventy two hours ago Landon had shattered their bond to protect her. Seventy Two hours ago the Vampires would have descended upon the pack territory. It had been Seventy Two hours since Titus and Naya had received any information on the pack. Were they alive? Was Landon alive?
Drawing in a shaky breath as tears rolled down her cheek she tried to calm her staggered breathing as her chest tightened once more. Her hand moving to her stomach where she could feel her growing child moving from within. How happy she'd felt weeks ago knowing she was bringing new life into the world... and now she felt nothing...no joy....no excitement.
Naya stood beside Titus at the Window watching the pale Blond locks from her Luna blow about in the wind. Carefully Naya wrapped her cardigan around her arms and closed her eyes with a soft sigh.
"How long has she been out there?" Titus asked as his blue gaze shifted towards Naya's reflection in the glass. He could tell it pained her to see Lina like this.
"She went out after lunch.. She didnt eat much... Just enough so she wasnt hungry... she needs to eat more for the baby..." She exhaled softly before turning her head towards him with concern. "Any news from Landon?" She inquired as she turned back towards Lina sitting in her spot on the beach still.
"Nothing since we left... Its been almost Three days and they havnt even emailed us or called us... I'll give it another two days and If we dont hear anything I'll take the jet out and check the territory." He spoke seriously as he turned his eyes back towards Lina.
"Have you tried calling your own pack?" Naya asked as she wrapped her arms around herself once again."
"Shit... I didnt even think about that... I'll go call them and see if they can give me an update... Sorry Ive been worried about Lina" Titus said as he turned to head towards his bedroom where his phone and computer were.
"Titus.." Naya called out to him with a gentle tone to her voice as she moved forward but stopped in her steps. "Don't apologize... We're both worried for her... I'll tend to her, You go ahead and phone your pack..." She said with a calm voice as she watched the different emotions roll through his face. He didnt say anything else to her and simply nodded before leaving to make his calls.
Naya's eyes traveled back towards the beach where Lina continued to watch the stars, she was barely visible in the growing darkness except for the faint glow about her figure and the paleness of her silvery blond hair that caught the light of the Moon's eye.
