Naya's eyes remained locked on Titus as her nails punctured the fine leather seat she sat in. She could feel every hair on her body raise as his hand tightened around hers. For an undeniably long pause they simply stared at one another. His grip strong and possessive. For a brief moment Naya's heart swelled but it only lasted the briefest of moments before her eyes quickly shifted and she jerked away from him...

For a brief moment he leaned into his chair and glanced down towards Lina once more as the pregnant female laid unconscious still.
"That is a cruel twist of Fate then... isnt it?" Titus said with little emotion in his tone as he shook his head. "The Goddess seems to test my loyalty at every turn... first forced to give up the woman I love to my brother... and now give me my soulmate whom is already claimed by another.." For a split moment Naya felt sorry for Titus. Through all the arrogant smirks and behavior she could tell this pained him. "This island will feel much smaller with you on it... I shall do my best to keep my distance... out of respect..." He said as he turned his head to look out the window.
"T-titus..." Naya began but Titus held up a hand to silence her.
"You don't need to say anything, Kitten...This was a mistake...Its a test...I will remain faithful to Luna...Even if she puts obstacles in my path... and I will respect you and the Male you've chosen to claim as your mate.. I will not claim a heart that is already taken by another..." He said as he looked towards her once more. The Desire burning in his eyes as his fist clenched. "No matter how beautiful that heart is..." He whispered as he drew out a low breath and turned towards the window again.
Naya's eyes drew back towards Lina's sleeping form and for a moment she was happy her Luna was not awake to see what had just transpired. Her heart was aching, She couldn't even remember if she and Braxton had ever truly felt this connection between their souls as she felt with Titus.
