"Okay so all I want is for your pack to patrol-" Jeongguk's words are cut off by the door being pushed open. The other alphas and their mates, at the table turn to look at the newcomer too.

Taehyung enters the room, one hand on his swollen belly and the other he uses to shut the door. He waddles over to his mate as the other alphas in the room watch him do so. He plops himself onto Jeongguk's lap, curls against him and buries his face into his neck, whining softly as he begins to settle down.

"You okay, baby?" Jeongguk murmurs softly as the rest of the alphas watch the exchange.

"Yea. Just missed you. I was trying to nest but your clothes weren't enough,"

"Tae, I'll be done in about half an hour, go wait for me in the room and I'll right there when I'm done," Jeongguk softly tries to convince his pregnant mate to go back. Not because he's jealous of other alphas being around, they have mates anyway, but because they're discussing pack matters and he doesn't want the omega to hear something and get stressed out.

Usually the omega accompanies him to these kinds of meetings but since the pregnancy, he has been firm with Taehyung and told him to rest instead of worrying about matters like these.

"Noooo, I wanna stay. You've been busy lately so we barely spend time together and my wolf has been whining and getting restless," the rest of the wolves in the room quietly talk amongst themselves as the duo converse.

Sighing softly Jeongguk places a kiss on the omega's head before speaking "We're busy, baby. It won't be long. Just let me finish this and then-"

"Listen here you big brute. You are the one that got me pregnant. It was during your rut remember?? So if I want to sit on your lap in the middle of your meeting for some TLC then I fucking will. Unless of course you'd rather not be around me since you haven't spent much time with me recently. Is that it?"

"N-no, baby just-" Jeongguk's cheeks redden as he tries to calm the ranting omega. Everyone in the room now has their attention focused on them and some are even laughing at the alpha.

"Don't you 'baby' me! I've been miserable and all you care about is the goddamn meeting? Is it too much to just get some affection? Am I disturbing you in any way, Jeongguk? Am I disrupting you by just sitting here quietly? Hm?? Tell me!" Taehyung demands an answer, his face turning red from the sudden rush of anger.

"No, of course not. I just-"

"Then what is the fucking problem?" Most of the wolves are full on laughing at Jeongguk getting told off by his pregnant mate. It's not very often they see him out of sorts.

"Nothing," Jeongguk sighs in defeat.

"That's what I thought," he says as he irritably shoves his face back into the crevice of the alpha's neck, wiggling as he gets comfortable before settling down.

Clearing his throat awkwardly he avoids the gazes of the others in the room as he tries to gain his composure and resume the meeting.

Once the meeting is over Taehyung raises his head and looks at the alpha expectantly.

"You wanna go to bed and cuddle?" Jeongguk asks.

"Yes! But before that, can you be a doll and go make me some chocolate chip pancakes with golden syrup and strawberries and just a scoop of bubble-gum ice cream, actually, make that two scoops. I also would like a cup of hot chocolate with the mini marshmallows and whipped cream on top?" Taehyung beams at him.

"Alright. Is that all?"

"Ooooo yes, and can you please pour some pickle juice over my pancakes as well? And maybe cut a pickle or two on the side. God, recently I've been loving pickle juice with my food," Jeongguk's face contorts into a grimace.

"Don't look at me like that," Taehyung playfully slaps the alpha's chest. "It literally tastes so good on, like, everything," this statement just causes Jeongguk's grimace to deepen.

"If you say so," he says, not wanting to argue with a hormone overloaded, pregnant omega. "Got it, Boss. You will receive your... delicious....meal as soon as possible," the alpha salutes him.

"Thank you," Taehyung kisses his mates cheek before happily waddling back to their shared room. Jeongguk shakes his head, knowing he's never going to get used to his mate's weird ass pregnancy cravings.
