Jeongguk never pictured himself as a sap.

Being the leader of the mafia, he has always been strict. He demanded respect and order. He prided himself on his coldblooded nature. A toe out of line and he wasted no time in putting a bullet in their skulls.

However, one day Kim Taehyung came tumbling into his life and clumsily dropped his strawberry milkshake all over his brand new Armani suit.

In any other situation, he would've beat the hell out of the person. However, looking at the ethereal creature that is Kim Taehyung, panicking and apologising profusely, the anger never came. Sure he was annoyed as hell but he, for some reason, couldn't bring himself to lash out at him.

Somehow they ended up exchanging numbers along the way and soon enough they started dating.

Taehyung did not change Jeongguk for the better, oh no. Jeongguk was still as heartless and violent as he was before. The only difference was that this stone cold nature never applied to Taehyung.

No matter how clingy, whiny and bratty he got. No matter how many times he interrupted Jeongguk's work and meetings. No matter what he did. Jeongguk never once got annoyed or anything close to irritated. And he even lets Taehyung get away with everything without a word of protest.

He was completely whipped.

Taehyung is an artist that sells his works online. And Jeongguk never complains when his boyfriend asks to colour in his tattoos with paint and even draw on more tattoo designs on his body.

He never complains whenever Taehyung makes flower crowns, necklaces and rings and insists that Jeongguk wears them, even in the most inappropriate situations.

Once the mafia boss was dealing with a potential business partner when his bubbly boyfriend bursts into the room, a wide proud smile on his face and in his hands is a flower crown that he made from the roses, and lilies that grow on the property.

"Gukkie! I made you a flower crown! And I made one for myself too. So we can match," he gestures to the crown on his head that is almost an exact match to the one he held.

The man Jeongguk was speaking to expected the usually emotionally detached male to shoot Taehyung, no questions asked. But he was startled when he saw a genuine smile take over his face and affection sparkles in his eyes. The man almost choked on the brandy he was sipping.

Jeongguk's men on the other hand, who had already gotten over their astonishment at the pair's relationship and their boss's behaviour towards Taehyung, never batted an eyelash as the ravenette fondly gazes at his lover who places the flower crown on his head.

"Thank you, baby. It's beautiful. I'll be out in about half an hour so wait for me, yea?"

"Glad you like it. I'll just go to the store and get some snacks while you finish up," Taehyung leans down and pecks him on the lips before turning to leave. Once the door shuts, Jeongguk reverted back to his stony self, as if he didn't have a floral accessory sitting atop his head. Even though Taehyung left, Jeongguk left the flower crown on his head anyway.

It took the man all it had to not laugh at the sight of Jeongguk covered in tats, black clothing, the works, but now with a colourful flowery decoration on his head.

Noticing this, Jeongguk pulled out his gun. "If I hear even a peep out of you, so help me, I will empty this gun into your head," this statement instantly chased away his initial amusement.
