The four guardians stand in a line, each waiting for their elementals to be revealed. Anticipation blooming in their chests.

The four dragon guardians. The heart and soul of the sacred kingdom. They are the protectors of the land and held in high regard by all mythical creatures.

Each guardian has their elements. Fire, water, earth and air.

The elementals are the spirit companions of the dragon protectors. While the dragons are all extremely strong and are merciless fighters, their powers require tons of energy therefore they need their spirit elementals with them.

The elementals fight with their dragons and can also feed more life force into them, should their powers start draining their strength. Each elemental has the ability to make their respective guardians attacks and defenses much stronger. The elementals themselves are extremely powerful and make the guardians invincible and will protect them with their life.

Every 500 years new dragons are appointed as the kingdom's protectors after they've passed a series of ruthless tests.

The new dragons; Jeon Jeongguk, Fire dragon. Kim Namjoon, Earth dragon. Jung Hoseok, Water dragon. Ahn Hye Jin, Air dragon.

Now the dragons are currently lined up, ready to meet their elementals.

"Jung Hoseok," Hoseok steps forward, practically bouncing on the spot. "Your elemental is a wolf. Fiercely loyal and majestic, highly intelligent and is capable of getting out of any tough situation. Extremely protective and will never leave you when you are in need. Her power over water makes her deadly to enemies and a very useful companion,"

A serious looking woman makes her way into the room and towards her guardian. Her ears perk up and twitch from side to side, as others mutter softly. She walks with pride and confidence, upon reaching Hoseok's side.

"Next, Ahn Hye Jin," she steps forward, an emotionless expression on her face.

"Your elemental is an antelope. Graceful and extremely fast. He can easily detect danger and ensure the safety of you and others before a situation escalates. His strong horns make his attacks deadly. The use of the air element along with his sharp characteristics make him the ideal elemental for you,"

In walks a male, dark bold eyes, he surveys his surroundings thoroughly. Horns that twist and spiral stick out from his black hair about six inches high. These horns would grow to their full length when he transforms into his animal counterpart. At first sight he is terribly intimidating but looking at his little tail that wiggles from side to side just balances out that cold look.

"Next, Kim Namjoon," "Your elemental is an eagle. Intelligent, fierce and amazing eyesight. His eyes can see over great distances which will be extremely beneficial when looking for danger. Sharp claws and beaks make his attacks effective. The ability of flight and control over the earth element makes him a desirable comrade,"

A young man walks in, his eyes sharp and piercing, scanning the room as he makes his way to his guardian. His build is slim yet strong.

"Lastly, Jeon Jeongguk," Jeongguk steps forward, eyes trained ahead.

"Your elemental is a fox. Whilst he may seem gullible and innocent, he is extremely intelligent, sly and cunning. Passionate and loyal, the fire fox is able to trick his way out of sticky situations and will fight to his death to protect you. His agile body, keen senses and fierceness of the fire element make him a very worthy partner for you,"

Unlike the other elementals who walked in either with confidence and/or serious intimidating expressions, the fire fox walks in, not nervous or scared but just happy to be there. His boxy smile has taken over his face and his vixen eyes are dazzling with excitement. His bushy red/orange tail sways behind him and his fuzzy ears are practically wiggling in delight as he sets his eyes on his guardian.
