Ch.5 Madeline Hatter and the others

When Alex entered to scene of the tea party, the first thing he noticed was the long tea table filled with tea item, and that the guests were all asleep. There a girl with mice ears, a boy with long brown hare ears, and in the big chair laid a girl who was wearing a purple top hat. When the girl woke up and moved her long brown hair out of her face, she saw Alex walking towards the tea table. Her big green eyes widen and a smile spread across her face. When the boy and the other girl woke up, they gasped when they saw Alex. The girl with the top hat then stood up on her chair and she walked across the table. Alex saw that she was wearing a silver poofy skirt with some designs, black and white stripped tights, a blue vest over her poka dotted white button shirt, and black ankle boots.

"Hey!" the girl with the mice ears said as she moved a teapot.

"Watch it!" the boy said as the girl with the top hat stopped at the end of the table and stared into Alex's face.

"Alexander?!" she asked him.

"Yes" Alex said.

"Is it really him?" the mouse girl asked.

"It's absolutely Alex" the girl said "I know it".

"You must be Madeline Hatter" Alex said.

"The one and only, now come on" she held out her hand as Alex took it and she pulled him up onto the table "You must join us" she said as she pulled him across the table "You're late for tea you know" she then placed him down on a the chair next to her chair and they sat down.

"So tell me Alex" Maddie said as she poured him a cup of tea "What brings you here?"

"Well Bella told me that Wonderland was in danger cause Lizzie, the daughter of the Queen of Hearts is taking over" Alex said.

"Oh yeah" Maddie frowned "And she has a new Jabberwocky too, now where can she find a new Jabberwock?"

Alex noticed that Maddie was still pouring the tea into the cup, but the cup seemed to be bottomless cause the tea didn't fill the small cup.

"And Cat said that you'll help me" Alex said as Maddie put the teapot down.

"Well, I can help you find the Vorpal sword" Maddie said "And I can train you to battle the new Jabberwcok".

"Wait" Alex cut in " No one told me that I had to slay the Jabberwock!"

"You do" Maddie said "Cause you're the son of Alice, who slayed and killed the old Jabberwock".

"But I can't slay a dragon!"

"I can train you" Maddie said "We can all train you. It's the only way to save Wonderland".

"I, I don't know" Alex said.

"Please Alex" Maddie begged "We'll help you".

"I'll try" Alex sighed.

"Yeah!" Maddie cheered "We'll start looking for Cari Pillar later, in the meantime, I should introduce the others. This is Dina Dormouse" She pointed to the girl with the mouse ears "Daughter of the dormouse". Then the girl transformed into a dormouse! In her dormouse form, Dina was a grey mouse wearing the purple dress and the brown vest she had on in her human form, and on her belt she had a tiny sword.

"It's nice to meet you Alexander" Dina said.

"Wow" Alex said "You can turn into a mouse and she have your own sword".

"I may be tiny" Dina said "But I can be very aggressive".

Dina then transformed back to her human form. With her purple dress and brown vest she also wore black and grey vertical stripped leggings and brown boots.

"And this is Marcness Hare" Maddie pointed to the guy with the hare ears "Son of the March Hare".

"I can also turn into a hare" Marchness Hare "But I don't feel like it now".

Marchness then dipped a pocket watch into his cup of tea.

"So Alex" Maddie said "I've been investing things that begin with the letter M. Moron, Mutiny, Murder, Malice".

"Malice?" Alex said.

"Have you any idea why a raven is like a writing desk?" Maddie asked.

"Umm" Alex said "I don't know".

"Neither do I" she said.

Alex had a confused look on his face.

Suddenly, a pie then grew out some spider legs and started to walk around the table. Marchness kept his eye on the spider pie as he picked up a spatula and raised it above his head.

"I've got ya this time" he said to the pie as he whacked the spatula on the spider pie and the pie splattered everywhere.

Maddie whipped the cherry filling from the pie off her face and licked it off her hand.

"That was weird" Alex said.

"Everything's weird around here" Maddie said.

"Hey" Marchness said "I think there's something wrong with my pocket watch".

"Let me see" Maddie said as she took the watch and studied it "Why, this watch is not ticking, and the times wrong".

"Well what's the time?" Alex asked.

"Who knows" Maddie said "Let me have a look inside" she said as she whacked the watch on the table and the clock opened.

"Aha" Maddie said "The wheels thingys aren't working, Dina hand me a fork" she said as Dina gave her a fork. Maddie then used the fork to scoop the wheels and springs out of the watch.

"What are you doing?" Alex asked.

"Fixing this watch" Maddie said "Now I need some salt, ah, here's some" she picked up a salt shaker, took the top off and poured all the salt into the watch "Jam!"

Dina handed her some jam as she spread the jam all over the watch.

"Are you sure you know what you're doing?" Alex asked.

"Nope" Maddie said "Now I need some, tea!"

She picked up a teapot and poured some tea all over the watch.

"Butter!" Marchness handed her the butter and she spread the butter on the watch.

"How about some sugar?" Marchness asked as he handed some sugar to Maddie.

"Ah yes sugar-" she stopped before she put some sugar on the watch "Sugar! You know sugar wont work! Lemon will do it" she picked up a lemon slice and squeezed it on the clock "There" she closed the watch "That should do".

But then the watch started to explode and it hoped around the table.

"Oh oh!" Maddie gasped "Mad watch!"

"Mad watch mad watch!" Marchness screamed.

"I'll take care of it" Dina said as she picked up a hammer and smashed to watch a few times until it stopped going mad.

"Oh" Maddie said as she looked at the smashed watch "I see the problem, it was two days late, there you go" she handed the watch to Marchness.

Alex was surprised at what he just saw.

"So Alex" Maddie said "You wanna find Cari now?"

"Uh, sure" Alex said as they got up and started to leave. But as they were walking, Marchness threw a teacup at Maddie's head, but she ducked as the cup flew over her head.

"Miss me" Maddie grinned as she and Alex started walking in the woods.

I know I copied the mad watch scene from Disney's 'Alice in Wonderland' but I just thought it be funny hehe. (Pic of Maddie)
