Alex in Wonderland

Ch.16 Battle

Frabjous day had finally arrived, and both queens were getting ready for battle.

"Where's Alex?" Bella asked for Alex had not arrived.

"I don't think he's coming" Maddie said with a sad look.

But then they heard something behind them, they turned around and saw the bandersnatch running towards them with Alex on it's back. Smiles spread across everyone faces. Alex was in the armour with the Vorpal sword on his belt.

"What made you change your mind?" Maddie asked.

"I've found my real courage" Alex smiled.

So the Wonderland kids, the White queen and her army then started their way to the chessboard battlefield, where they met up with Lizzie, the Queen of Hearts and her army. Alex staired into Lizzie's demon eyes, and she looked back. She then pointed at him and ran her finger across her neck, but he held up his bravery. Bella then went into the center between the armies and blew her trumpet.

"On this Frabjous day!" she yelled "Our champions will battle each other for the control of Wonderland! If the White queen's champion wins, Lizzie and the Queen of Hearts will be banished to the Outlands where they will stay!"

"Good luck with that cousin" Lizzie said to Lily in a sarcastic tone.

"You may now bring out your champions!" Bella yelled.

"With pleasure" the Queen of Hearts grinned as she reached into her dress and pulled out a necklace that hunged around her neck. Alex couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the necklace, it was his mother's! The same one with the heart pendant and the word 'Imagin' graved into it.

"Hey!" he yelled at the queen "Where did you get that necklace?!"

"That's none of your buisness" the queen said.

"But that's my mother's necklace!" he said.

"It was?" the queen said sarcasticlly "Oh, well it's mine now".

The queen then wrapped her hand around the pendant and closed her eyes for a moment, and then a loud scream was heard. Everyone then saw a large shadow behind the clouds, and the shadow landed behind the queen's army. There behind the army was the Jabberwocky, with it's red eyes, large black wings, giant black scaled body, long neck and tail, and it's razor sharp teeth and claws.When Bella saw the Jaberwocky, she quickly ran to the White queen's side. Alex was shocked at the dragon he was about to battle.

"This is impossible" Alex whispered to Maddie.

"Only if you believe it is" Maddie said.

"Sometimes" Alex said "I believed in many as 6 impossible things before breakfeast".

"Now that is good practice" Maddie said "But for now, you might wanna focus on the Jabberwocky".

The Jabberwocky then went up pass the guards and to Lizzie and the queen.

"You're not afraid of it?" Alex asked Lizzie and the queen.

"It does whatever I say" the queen said as she touched the necklace.

"Where's your champion Lily?" Lizzie asked.

Alex walked up towards them with the sword in one hand and the shield in the other "Here" he said with courage.

"Hello Lewis" Lizzie said sarcasticlly "Let's see how well you'll do".

The Jabberwocky went up to Alex and roared in his face.

"What have you been eating?" he asked it.

"Jabberwocky" the queen said "Bring us his head".

The Jabberwocky then raised it's clawed hands up getting ready to swing at Alex, but Alex quickly ran out of the way as the Jabberwock's hand missed him. It then blew out purple fire at him, but he used his shield to block it. But the Jabberwock made a fist and puched Alex into a wall. But it was heading towards Alex, Maddie used her Vorpal blade to stab the Jabberwock's tail, it gave a small gry in pain as it flunged it's tail at her, but she ducked as the tail went over her.

"She's not suppose to do that!" the queen said "Off with her head!"

"I've got it mother" Lizzie said as she took off her tiara and pulled out a sword and headed towards Maddie and the armies headed towards each other with their weapons.

"Oh oh" Marchness said as he pointed to Maddie and Lizzie "This is gonna be one big cat fight".

"Actually" Cat grinned "This, is a cat fight".

The Wonderland kids then got out their weapons and started battleing the card guards while Maddie and Lizzie fought.

Alex quickly got up with the sword and quickly moved as the Jaberwock blew out more fire at him. It then tried to bite him, but he ran under the Jabberwock's body and climbed up a pile of broken stairs that were on the wall, but the Jabberwock followed him. Alex then came to a large hole, with the Jabberwock behind him, he ran and jumped over the hole and made it to the other side. But the Jabberwock then threw large blouders at him, but he moved out of the way.

"Come on Alex" he said to himself "You can do this, at least get it injured".

Meanwhile, Maddie and Lizzie were battleling each other, even though Maddie only had a knife, she was faster then Lizzie's sword. Dina now had a giant pepper grinder for a weapon.

"Dina look out!" Marchness yelled. Dina turned around and saw the Jubjub bird flying towards her. So she used her pepper grinder to shoot out pepper bullets at the bird which cause it to fall down. Dina then transformed into her dormouse form and ran up the bird's body in till she made it to the head, she then pulled out her tiny sword and poked it in the bird's eye and pulled it's eye out as the bird cried in pain. She quickly ran off the body and turned back to her human form.

"What was that for?" Marchness asked.

"Souvenir" Dina said.

"You're gross".

The Jabberwocky kept trying to grab and bite Alex, but he fast and the Jabberwock kept missing him. Alex then his behind a tower as the Jabberwock searched for him. He then looked up and noticed a bunch of boulders on top of the tower, and they looked loose. So he made sure the Jabberwock wasn't looking and he climbed up the tower towards the loose boulders. He waited intill the Jabberwock's tail was near the tower, and he used all of his strengths to push some boulders off the tower and they landed on the tail. The Jabberwock cried in pain as Alex got off the tower and he used the sword to stab the Jabberwock's body as it gave another cry in pain. Alex saw that the Jabberwock's blood was purple like it's fire. But the Jabberwock was then able to get the boulders off it's tail and it used it tail to swing some of the boulders towards Alex, and one of it was able to hit Alex as it knocked him down. The Jabberwock then got closer to Alex, he tried to run but he was against a wall and the Jabberwock's was close to him. He aimed the sword at the Jabberwock and noticed something hanging off the Jabberwock's neck, he looked closer and saw that it was the same necklace his mother wore and the queen now had.

"Wait a minute" he thought "If the queen is using the necklace to control the Jabberwock and it's wearing the same one, then that means..."

Maddie and Lizzie were still fighting, and Maddie was then able to knock the sword out of Lizzie's hand, but as Lizzie headed towrds the sword, Maddie jumped on her and sat on her stomach. She then raised up her knife getting ready to stab Lizzie's face, but Lizzie grabbed Maddie's wrist and tried to push it back.

Alex looked into the Jabberwock's red eyes, he then used the sword to cut off the necklace, and the Jabberwock gave a cry as blue lights came out of it's body.

"No" the queen gasped as she grabbed the necklace around her neck, the necklace's red light then went out "No no no!"

Just then, the Jabberwock bursted out blue lights which pushed Maddie off of Lizzie. Alex and everyone shield their eyes from the light. After the light went away, there where the Jabberwock used to be, was Alice.
