On a sunny afternoon, Alex and Alice rested against a tree. Alice was reading a book while Alex watched a stream go by. Once or twice he would peep into the story his mother was reading.
"What are you reading?" he asked.
"Oh, a story that was written by a friend of mine" Alice said.
"Who?"
"Mr. Charles Dodgson".
"But the book says by Lewis Caroll".
"That's his pen name".
"Oh, well what's the book called?"
"Alice's adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-glass".
"Wait, what?"
"He wrote this story to my sisters and I when we were kids. But what he didn't know was that he actually created Wonderland and I visit it when I was around 7 or 8. But when I told him about my real adventures in Wonderland, he laughed and said that I had a great imagination. But I didn't mind that".
"Well where is he now?"
"He's dead now, but his stories about my adventures in Wonderland got published and many copies were sold. And he gave me the first copy that I'm reading now".
"Can I read it?"
"Well, I'm not done, but I've read it already to I guess you can read it".
Alice handed him the book, as he started reading it, a blue butterfly landed on his shoulder.
"Hello Cari" he said to the butterfly as he watched it fly away "Mom, can I go to Wonderland and show everyone this book?"
"Go ahead" Alice smiled "But try to come back for tea".
"I will" Alex said as he placed the small mittor on the ground and it enlarged, he looked through and saw Wonderland. He held onto the book as he went through the looking-glass and into Wonderland. The Wonderland kids then greeted him with hugs.
"Alex!" Maddie called as she ran up and threw her arms around him "You're back!".
"Hey!" Bella said as she hugged him too "So what did your mother say when they asked her where'd she been?"
"Well" Alex said "It kinda confusing and long, I'll explaine it later, but I wanna show you guys this book".
As they all followed Alex, Cari sat on a tree trunk and watched them go by. A blue butterfly then landed on her finger.
"He's brave don't you think?" she asked the butterfly "A boy filled with wonder and imagination".
The butterfly then whispered something to Cari.
"What's that?" Cari asked "What's his last name? Well I don't know who his father is, so I'll call him Alexander Liddell"
The butterfly then flew off her finger. Cari then stood on the tree trunk and spread her larged blue butterfly wings out, and she flew up in the sky.
As Alex showed everyone the book, an envolope fell out of the pages.
"What's that?" Tony asked.
"I don't know" Alex said as he opened the envolope and toom out a letter.
"What does it say?" Tammy asked.
"Alice" he read "I hope you enjoy this story, and don't forget to pass this down to your kid(s). And remember, Wonderland is a place filled with nonsense and madness, and the only way to go there is to believe-Lewis Caroll. I would've liked to meet Caroll, too bad he's dead".
"But he's right" maddie said "Wonderland is filled with nonsense and madness, but you gotta believe in order to get there, which luckily, you do".
Everyone then continued to look at the book, reading the story of Alice's adventures in Wonderland.
*Sobs* I can't believe I'm done with this story. I'm so proud of it. Well that's the end of this story, be sure to check out my other stories. (Just a reminder that "Return to Wonderland 3" has been retitled to "The fight for the lands" which is when the Wonderlandians do to Neverland and meet some Neverland friends!) Intill then, bye! :*
