Alex in Wonderland

Ch. 6 Tony and Tammy

As Alex and Maddie walked around the Tulgey Woods, Alex kept hearing something behind them, but when he turned around, nothing was there.

"Uh, Maddie" Alex said "I have a strange feeling were being followed".

"Followed?" Maddie asked "Hmm" she said as she took out a large knife out of her hat.

"You carry a knife in your hat?" Alex asked.

"Yeah" Maddie said "But it doesn't hurt me".

"That's a pretty knife though" Alex said as he looked at the large knife that was printed with floral designs.

"It's the Vorpal Blade" Maddie said "A little companion of the Vorpal Sword".

Just then, a rustle was heard in a bush, so Maddie slowly walked towards the bush as she gripped her large knife, she looked behind the bush and saw a little hedghog playing with a stick.

"Aww" Maddie said "Hey little fella".

As Maddie talked to the hedghog, Alex turned around and was surprised to find a boy and a girl standing in front of him. The boy and girl kind of looked like twins with their same clothes of red and white striped shirts, red suspenders that attached to the boy's red pants and the girls red skirt, and they both had spinning hats. The twins had their arm around each other and just stared at Alex. He also noticed their name tags, the girls said 'Tammy', and the boy's said 'Tony'.

"Uh" Alex said with a confused look "Maddie".

"Hold on" Maddie said.

Alex waved his hand in front of their eyes.

"If you think we're wax figures" the girl said suddenly "You ought to pay us".

"Oh" Maddie said as she got up and headed towards the twins "Hey guys".

"Um, who are these?" Alex asked.

"I'm Tammy Tweedle" the girl "And he's Tony Tweedle" she pointed to the boy.

"And I'm Tony Tweedle" the boy said "And she's Tammy Tweedle" he pointed to Tammy.

"Son and daughter of Tweedledee and Tweedledum" Maddie said.

"No wonder" Alex said.

"And who might you be?" Tony asked Alex.

"Alex" he said.

"Son of Alice?" they gasped.

"Yep" Maddie said.

"Well it's an honnor to meet you" the twins said as they held out their hands for Alex to shake. But as Alex tried to shake their hands, they moved their hands in different way so he couldn't grab them. This made Alex frowned.

"Just kidding" they smiled as they both shook Alex's hand.

"Were you guys going?" Tammy asked.

"We're going to see Cari Pillar" Maddie said "So she can tell us where the Vorpal Sword is so Alex can slay the new Jabberwock".

"And no one told me about this" Alex said.

"But I'm gonna help him train" Maddie said.

"Ooo" the twins said "Can we help?"

"Sure" Maddie said "But we should be getting back to finding Cari".

"Oh ok" they said.

"Bye Alex" Tammy said as she gave a small punch on his shoulder and they disappeared into the woods.

"Ow" Alex said as he rubbed his shoulder.

"Yeah" Maddie said "They're always like that".

Alex then sees smoke rising in the sky, he noticed that the smoke changed colors, from green to blue, and the smell of it made him cough.

"Where's that smoke coming from?" he asked.

"We're getting closer to Cari" Maddie said "And yeah, she smokes like her dad".

Alex and Maddie then followed the color changing smoke through the woods.

Yeah this is kinda short, but at least I wrote this chapter after a long time of thinking of what to write. More coming soon.
