meanwhile, Y/N was on the cold ground, staring at him as he tries to fight for both of their lives. She would faintly smile, tears filling up her eyes.

─ PRESENT POV
childe reminisced the events, tears falling down his cheek. He was broken. He thought that his didn't only contain fighting. He thought that maybe it was his chance for his life to change.
He wiped his tears, Signora was behind him, feeling pity for the poor man. She stared at him before turning around to leave.
He faintly smiled, slowly accepting the fact that she was gone.
" I'm sorry Y/N, you can rest peacefully now. Without any disturbance, may the gods be with you. "
