Y/N, a courageous and strong girl from the knights of favonius, she was just like amber, but older.
this certain cryo visioned girl had a tragic past. her father and mother were part of the adventurer's guild and got killed in a mission.
her siblings took care of her and taught her how to defend herself, she wears her vision on her waist.
she's known to be energetic and can place a smile on your face. atleast that's what diluc has heard from other people.
he wondered if she was as fun as what he has heard. he wondered if she could help him with his past.
suddenly the door to his bar opened and there revealed Y/N with kaeya. diluc was at the bar, he glanced at them before looking away, taking a sip on his wine.
Y/N had a bright smile on her face as they both ordered wine, she began talking to kaeya.

a few days later.
the sound of the door opening alarmed diluc, he peeked and saw Y/N, he couldn't help but to smile slightly. She saw him and smiled brightly, she approached him joyfully and took his hands.
" diluc.. "
" yes Y/N? "
" let's run away. "
he was shocked by her response, he examined her more and saw slight changes to her face. her eyes seemed tired. he furrowed his eyebrows before he nodded.
" alright. "
he agreed, she seemed joyful as she pulled him out of the winery, she kept running and running. he went along with her, admiring how her hair swayed in the graceful wind.
soon enough they reached a cliff. the night sky was upon them, she looked up and mumbled.
" the moon is beautiful. "
she mumbled as she closed her eyes before laying down on the ground. he looked at her and laid down beside her. looking up at the peaceful sky.
the stars twinkled and there came a shooting star.
" diluc look! a shooting star, make a wish! "
she said placing her hands together in a praying position. he did the same and was soon done with his, he looked at her but she wasn't done.
she soon opened her eyes, tears brimming her eyes. staring at the moonlit sky.
" diluc, promise me one thing. "
" yeah? "
" keep on smiling please. "
" just as long as I'm with you, my smile will be infinite. "
she looked so sad, bursting into tears infront of him.
" thank you for showing me how it feels like to have someone to lean on. "
she said through her tears, he frowned and wiped her tears.
" don't cry Y/N."
" okay okay I won't."
she said before staring into his eyes, she smiled faintly.
" we should probably get going, besides, you still have tomorrow ahead of you. "
she said standing up, he was slightly confused by what she meant but got up aswell. he had hoped this would last forever. hand in hand, under the starry night sky.
─ The Next Day
diluc headed over to Y/N's house but saw kaeya, jean, amber, and lisa outside, crying.
he was confused before running over to them.
" what happened? "
" she didn't tell you?"
jean said in a shocked tone, before looking away.
" I guess you should go see for yourself. "
she mumbled, diluc went in immediately
" Y/N?!"
he called but saw her lifeless body on the bed. he widened his eyes, tears started to fall. what he had loved and cherished the most had died, without even a single goodbye.
his eyes moved to the table, it had a letter for diluc. he reluctantly grabbed it and started reading.
dear diluc, hii! I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I figured you would stop smiling because of me. I'm sorry I kept this a secret. I didn't really want you to be sad. cherish our memories together, I love you diluc. keep on smiling, I'll always be beside you.
