" can't you see that I'm the one who understands you? "

" albedo! "

Y/N called out, she had a small box in her hands approaching him with a smile. but he seemed busy sketching something out. when she took a small peek of what he was sketching, she saw the girl he was inlove with. she remained quiet and looked away. soon enough albedo noticed her.

" oh hey Y/N, need something?"

" ah, no, I─"

she mumbled, before handing him the box with a faint smile.

" its lunch, I figured you haven't eaten yet."

" oh geez, thanks! you're really a great bestfriend."

albedo thanked her, she bit her bottom lip and looked away. he closed his sketchbook and began eating. she felt hurt about the term 'bestfriend' but, you know. things just go that way.

"i better get going now, bye albedo!"

she said smiling softly, he nodded and smiled 

"bye Y/N!"

he bid her farewell as she left, tears brimming her eyes.

" why can't I just be the one he loves."

she mumbled to herself before beginning to walk.

Y/N sat down on her desk, looking at the piece of paper and pen on her table. she began writing about her feelings about albedo and how it was quite one sided. after writing a few paragraphs, she folded up the paper and placed the paper in her drawer

she got up, looking out the window as she observed the starry night sky. oh how she hoped her feelings for albedo would simply disappear. she looked away from the window before going to bed.

the next day, she was wandering around mondstadt, seeming as she didn't have any duties, a festival was near, so everyone was decorating. she had took the letter with her just in case, she spaced out for a bit, before she felt a arm slither around her waist. she turned her head to look at the person and saw albedo.

she fell quiet, looking away.

" what are you doing?"

she mumbled with a slight blush, albedo would look at her before letting out a small chuckle.

" i'm here to hang out with you ofcourse, thank you for the meal yesterday, it was delicious."

he praised, she would nod, she placed her hands in her pocket, she remembered about the letter. she looked away from him.

after a few hours of talking with him, albedo decided to drop her at her house. they began walking to her house. she was quiet on the way. after they arrived, albedo looked at her and removed his hand around her waist.

" I guess this is goodbye"

he said, he leaned in to kiss her forehead but she pushed him away suddenly. he was taken aback, confused.

" if you're going to do that, please don't make me fall for you even deeper."

she said, tears started to fill her eyes, she took the letter out of her pocket. he stared at the letter, she started to rip it into pieces.

" I love you albedo, but you always seem so clueless."

she said, letting the pieces of the letter fall on the floor, she ran back inside, closing the door shut. he stared at the pieces of the letter before picking it up, and walked away.

albedo was sitting down, trying to piece the letter back, after a hour or two, he finally got the letter back. he started reading, he started to understand her feelings.

" how could I have been so clueless."

he mumbled, before closing the letter carefully. he went to lie down in his bed, staring at the ceiling, the more he thought about it, the more he knew he was really inlove with Y/N.

the night of the festival soon came, they never interacted ever since that night. Y/N was getting ready, tying her hair up. she soon went out to meet up with the others. Klee was the first one to see Y/N and ran up to her to hug her tightly.

" Y/N!"

she gleefully said, Y/N would let out a soft chuckle. she saw Liv, Jean, and Lisa talking to eachother, she would approach them with klee in her arms.

" Hey Y/N!"

Liv greeted her, she looked at her before smiling faintly.

" Hey Liv."

" What's the matter dear? you seem tired."

Lisa said, checking her temperature with her hand.

" oh my dear, are you really okay? you're quite hot."

" yeah, I'm fine, I just haven't had the time for myself." 

Soon enough, Kaeya and Amber went to join them.

" Hey Ladies."

Kaeya said, they would all chuckle, Y/N looked around and tried to find a certain someone, but he was nowhere to be found. she lets out a sigh, before realizing everyone was looking at her.

" Oh? wait what?"

" were you looking for Albedo?"

Liv said, chuckling slightly. she got flustered looking away.

" A ─ Ah, no!"

she quickly denied, biting her bottom lip.

" She's really looking for Albedo. "

Jean said, smiling. They all nodded while klee smiled.

" I know where he is! Klee will go find him"

Klee said before jumping out of her arms and ran, Y/N widened her eyes and chased after Klee.

" Klee wait! "

she yelled but klee didn't listen, she ran to where Albedo was. He noticed them, and saw Y/N, his eyes were filled with hope, klee looked at him and smiled. Y/N stopped looking at them.

" Y/N was looking for you Albedo!"

Klee said, he smiled faintly and tilted his head.

" was she? I was looking for her aswell."

he said, looking down. Klee would smile before running back to Jean, Y/N looked at him before turning around to go back. Albedo swiftly raises his head looking at her, he got up from his seat, taking her hand.

" wait Y/N."

he said, she widened her eyes before slowly turning to face him, she looked up at him.

" what is it?"

she said in a soft voice, he stared at her face that he dearly missed, before smiling sadly.

" I missed you."

" don't say it, you don't really mean it."

"  the time we weren't together, it felt like pain. I realized I wasn't inlove with Liv, I just simply looked up to her and admired her. I was inlove with you Y/N."

he said, she widened her eyes, before looking away. he looked at her before looking away.

" I love you Y/N."

he muttered, she was silent, he felt hope being drained down inside of him, he looked away.

" I love you too Albedo."
