Chapter 19 - Eyes Of Axl

Welcome to my world!

My name is Sophia Dela Cruz. I am a shapeshifter I can copy any figure I want. I live in Axl where all is high-tech devices like a flying car a floating house etc. I am the daughter of Dave and Isabella Dela Cruz and I also have a younger sister whose name is Rebecca.

My life looks like a normal life, if you can see our family picture hanging in our house, a family picture full of love and happiness just like the normal families that you can see in forgotten city.

I wish to have that kind of life where you can enjoy your childhood with your family with no problems, no powers, no enemy, and no obligation to do for your city.

I grew up in Axl, when I was a kid I really don't enjoy being a shapeshifter it's kinda boring thing but now I'm turning 19 its kinda exciting to copy any figures I want I can transform anytime, anywhere I really enjoying this power now but as much as possible I want to hide my power so that me and my sister can live a normal life.

Back then when I was 15 years old my parents died because of the war against other country my parents are soldier they sacrificed their lives for our country we really miss them so much after that day I have all the responsibilities for my younger sister I stand as a mother and father and also an older sister to our bunso.

One day after my class, I go straight to my part time job.

I work as a waitress in a small restaurant along with my best friend Jasmine, she always pulls pranks on me, and she's my best friend since I was 5 years old.

"Hey, there you are! I thought you will have three-day leave so that you can take care of your sister. "Jasmine said after she struck me,

" I'm so glad that you're here now Sir Ethan really missed you."

"Stop teasing me, I don't have time for this. Can you please pass me the food in your back so I can now give it to our customer." My irritated answer to her.

"Ok, ok. Don't get mad! Love you, sizt!"

Hmmm... I only have 20 minutes before my break and I don't have enough money so, I can't buy foods. I really need to work. I need money for me and for my sister.

*sighed*

I wish you were here mom and dad I'm tired of my life I wish you could help me; I want to rest just for one day. Just one day mom, dad.

"Here's your order ma'am; one crispy pata and one spaghetti enjoy your meal ma'am."

Ohh, it's our breaktime.

"Hey, sizt! Let's eat something delicious, I'm really starving! Ahhhhh!" Jasmine said to me while pulling me but suddenly Sir Ethan pulled my hands and take me to his office.

"Sophia sit down and eat with me it's my treat so eat it after you eat you can go home now."

"Ok, Sir. Thank you. Can Jasmine also come home too?"

"Uh yes, yes. You can both go home but after you eat." Sir Ethan answered.

"Thank you, Sir!! Owww what a beautiful day!!"

After I ate, I went to Jasmine and tell her that we're going home...while we are walking, I feel that someone's fallowing us, but I ignored it and continued our conversation.

"Sizt! Are you alright? You look pale? If there's something bothering you, just tell me." Jasmine said.

"I don't have a problem, it's just I'm so tired taking care of my sister. It's almost 4 years since our parents died. I still need to go to school and I also have a part time job. I also need to do our household chores, do my projects and assignments. I don't have all the time for myself anymore then I have to take care of my younger sister its really tiring to be a 3in1."

"Ohh sizt! Here, how about this; get some rest and I'll take care of your place for a day."

"Really, sizt?? Ohh, thank you! You're the best!"

After a while there is someone grabbing me and forcing me to go inside the van, a group of people who has a cover in their face. My best friend is grabbing me and shouting...

"Hey, buttholes! Let go of my best friend!" but the man pushed her, and they put me inside the van.

"What do you want from me? Let me go!"

"You need to work for us, you need to spy the people who has a power in forgotten city"

"Bite me!"

"Don't test our patience! We don't just threat, we do."

"What if I don't like to work for you?"

"Then you leave us no choice, your sister will take all the consequences."

"NO!!! Alright, fine I will do what you want me to do but leave my sister alone."

"For now, you're coming with us in our hideout you can use our equipment to spy those people in forgotten city."

As we arrive in the hide out they showed me my room and my office where I can work at peace they let me send some message to my relatives so I texted Jasmine to take care my sister for a while when I'm gone .I live with those stupids for a week they treated me like their friends after 5weeks I'm working with them I used their equipments for spying the team who has a power in forgotten city.

I've been working a lot using my powers, this shape shifting powers. I've copied a cop, a business owner but never have I ever used this to harm someone. I accepted this because I also have someone, I also have someone to fight for. I know all their plans, their movements I know all about them, but never will I hurt someone.
