Chapter 21 - Vas Happenin', Selene?

AZIARAH'S P.O.V

"She's not going to team up with us, Azi." Kyro said.

"Shut it, kuya." I rolled my eyes on him being a bit impatient already. Kyro's acting weird, most of the times I see him with solar with a happy look then later a smug look then later a serious one. Maybe his past is still hitting him like a truck but I swear if he started liking solar just because she looks like his dead ex-girlfriend then I'm about to throw fists.

We've been sitting on these creaking swings, watching every bird flew forward still waiting for the shapeshifter.

"Hey." I heard Solar's voice just behind us, I turned my head.

"Oh hi, Azi! Didn't see you there. " She chuckled awkwardly.

"Yup, it's fine, hello to you too. " I smiled at her then shook my attention back to the birds.

"Kyro... " I didn't quite hear the rest maybe they have something to share to each other.

Sana all.

It's been awhile actually, I'm still wondering if after all this chaos, can we still meet each other? Everyone, with our without memories. I hope so.

"Hi. " The shapeshifter has finally arrived. I grinned then stood up.

"Took you long, hey there! Come in. " I said to them joyfully and then walked them inside.

This plan will work.

"Sophia and...?" I said pointing out her sister.

"Selene, her name is Selene. " Sophia said caressing Selene's hair.

"Vas, happenin', Selene?!" Zayn said.

"What happened to her? " I asked but I didn't need any answer because I can feel her mind, her thoughts. She's tired, scared and traumatized.

Like what I've said i don't need the answer so it's fine even if I didn't get the answer. I can read her thoughts anyways.

I shrugged it off and then just walked.

"This is our hide out; I think Sophia already knows what's inside here but I'm pretty sure you don't know about our escape tunnel. " I continued walking.

"We made a tunnel in case we get raid or whatever, better safe than sorry. " I stopped in front of a wall.

"Are we supposed to break it or are there any secret buttons? " Sophia asked.

"So, cliché, Sophia. That's why you need our ' membership ' card to get in and that membership card means trust. This has automatic sensory if the person entering can be trusted or no, if you can't enter then you can't. " I gave her a smug look.

"I'm going first " I entered it like there's no walls.

"I'm not going in, yet." Sophia said while blushing.

"Oh what's this? You're doubting yourself, huh? So honest, Soph. " I giggled and walked back out.

"Your room is on the third floor, right side with the violet door." I handed her the key then winked.

"Feel free to try the door next time. " Then I left her roaming the place.

DINER

Artica's POV

"Sooo... Where do you want to eat?" Zayn asked.

"I don't know... Where do you want to eat?" I asked him back.

Zayn sighed and told me to follow him. We walked for 15 mins before arriving in front of a Bistro restaurant. It's a small but stylish restaurant inside a neighborhood near to mine.

"It's nice." I said looking at the restaurant. Zayn told me to go inside which I happily obliged to because its freezing out here. We headed up to the second floor of the place and found a seat.

I sat in my chair and looked around the place. I was so mesmerized I almost forgot why we're in here. I snapped out of my trance and saw Zayn staring at me.

"Are you done?" Zayn sarcastically said.

"Says the one who's staring at me" I mumbled.

He was about to talk again when the waiter came with our menus. We gave our orders and told us to wait for our food.

"Anyway, have you thought of something?" Zayn asked.

"You think?" I rolled my eyes on him.

Zayn groaned loudly and looked at me dead in the eye. "Look we need to have a plan as soon as possible so let's set aside the sarcasm yeah?"

"You started it" He looked at me dead in the eye again. "Ugh fine!!"

"Okay good. Now let's start with what elements we can control."

"Well... I freeze things. I'm not really in control of my powers though. I just froze things I touched specially when something triggers it." I explained.

"Hmm. That's good enough for now. I can control water in every aspect. I can control the fluids inside a living organism and do what I please with it. Anything that is flowing I can control" Zayn told me.

" You told me that you can't control your power, right?" I nodded.

"How about we train to have you control your powers and not freeze anything you touch 'accidentally'. Since our powers can be related, we might be able to fuse it together." Zayn suggested.

" Where can we train without people seeing us?" I asked.

" Don't think about that I already have a place. It's a hidden place only I know. What we need to worry about is how you control your powers."

I was about to asked something when the waiter came with our food. I thanked him and started to eat. While I'm chewing my food, Zayn spoke again.

"Do you know what triggers your powers?"

Flashbacks of the events that triggered it came to me in an instant. I remembered the times I was so scared or times I was so angry and sad. I swallowed my food and drank water.

"It happens every time I feel extreme emotions or every time, I'm emotional."

"I see."

We finished our meal and paid for the bill. We walked out of the restaurant and stopped in front of a bench.

"Are you fine with the plan?" He asked

"Of course, I am! I really needed to control this power to avoid hurting people" Zayn only nodded. I can feel that he was exhausted. Maybe he had a rough day.

I looked up at him "So... When can we start training?"
