Girl's Sleepover part 1

On the drive back to Madi's apartment I could feel her eyes on me, I know she's itching to ask what happened between me and Charlie and I honestly don't know how to tell her. Is there anything going on? Or was he just being nice?

By the time my brain works through every possible reason, I'm pulled out of my thoughts by Mr Reyes pulling up to their apartment waiting for us to grab our stuff before leaving for the night so he can avoid girls night. All the girls pile out excited for the night ahead while my mind is running at 100 miles an hour, I can see Madi staring at me still aching to ask me. We say goodbye to Mr Reyes and head up to their apartment all lugging up our bags.

Making our way inside we all dump our bags on the living area and the girls are already grabbing out snacks and facemasks, Sav getting High School Musical loaded on the TV because who doesn't love a bit of Zac Efron?

Trying to take my mind off things I grab out some of my English treats and Madi looks over "is that what you have in England?" she asks, "yeah I brought some snacks and sweets over since I heard you guys don't have this over here" I explain. The girls take a bite of chocolate and their faces light up "that's your chocolate like most chocolate tastes like that?!" Jadah questions "pretty much yeah but Cadburys is the best of the best" I respond, "yo why is your candy so much better" Madi complains while Sav just enjoys the chocolate "I'll ask my mum to send some more over before I go back after filming and I can send it over to you guys" I say probably overcompensating "Please do girl" Sav says the other girls agreeing.

As the night goes on Madi suggests we order Takeout, leading us to order way too much pizza and singing along to all the songs in High School Musical reenacting some scenes and dances although I'm severely outnumbered by the talented ladies. I flop down on the couch completely out of breath, the girls quickly following suit all of us laughing and smiling.

"Ok, ok let's play truth or dare" Jadah suggests patting us all through the laughter, Madi sits up immediately "Yes!" she yells in excitement looking straight at me and my face drops. I already know exactly what she's thinking and I'm honestly terrified to answer because I have no idea myself. I zone out overthinking exactly what I'm going to see. Savannah shakes my arm "Hey Jen? you ok?" she asks gently, "huh? yeah sorry," I say realising how awkward that must've looked, way to make a good impression on the first girls night of what I hoped would be many. The girls look concerned "it's ok, I'm fine I promise I'm just..." I try to explain, Madi looks at me "confused?" she finishes. "Yeah" I replied letting out a breath, "are we missing something?" Jadah asks. "There's something going on with Jen and Charlie" Madi explains trying to catch Jadah and Savannah up. I hear audible gasps "wait oh my god he totally has a crush on you," Savannah says being her adorable self. "That's what I'm trying to figure out he's been super nice since my first, all of you have and it's made me feel so comfortable so thank you honestly I guess he's just been a little extra nice I guess it's Canadian hospitality? I mean he's pretty touchy but he's like that with everyone. Yeah no, he's just friendly and goofy with everyone" I ramble.

Madi looks at me with a deadpan expression "are you kidding me, Jen? You're wearing his clothes that he gave to you after letting you shower in his trailer, he walks you around set following you like a lost puppy. He's always looking for an excuse to ask you to grab him something or sitting next to you at lunch even if he has to push Owen off the bench" Madi says making me blush at every statement, some part of me wants to squeal with delight and go on his apartment and make our feeling known. The other part is saying it's way too good to be true and that I'm crazy for thinking anyone like him would take any interest in me or think of me as any more than a member of the crew. "Hey gurl trust me sure charlie's super nice and the guy loves a hug but it's nothing like he is with you I swear every time he walks into a room he's looking for you" Sav chimes in making me blush more. "Ok so let's say he does like me what do I do now?" I ask the girls, "Just act naturally you guys are bound to get closer throughout filming and I bet by the end you'll be a couple" Sav says nudging me. I shoot her a smile thanking her for the reassurance.

Madi hops up "Ok, let's do facemasks," she says, throwing us a packet each. We take a few selfies as memories of the night, my mind still goes crazy with what-ifs and if it'll be weird now. The girls decide now is a good time to play Never have I ever instead of Truth or dare with 10 fingers instead of drinks of course, "Ok never have I ever kissed a boy" Madi starts leaving only her and me with 10 fingers. "Jen?" Sav asks and I look down "I guess I just never have. I've never had a boyfriend or been asked on a date, I was so focused on working towards this and honestly British boys ain't all the movies make them out to be" I explain a little embarrassed but they laugh at the last part. "Hey Jen mine was only because of a TV show," Jadah says making me feel a little better, "Ok never have I ever been drunk," Jadah says making me put a finger down. "Ok but I'm the only legal one! Plus age restrictions are a big deal in England" I exclaim, making them laugh again. "Wait what?" Madi asks "Oh so it's pretty easy to get ahold of fake I.Ds are relatively easy to get hold of and to be honest, we have house parties at like 13 and get drunk and it's rare someone under 18 gets arrested is being drunk unless they're causing issues" I explain the girls looking shocked "Damn England is chill" Jadah says making me laugh.

Mr Reyes returns home as we finish up Never Have I Ever and put another movie on still in our facemasks, he makes sure to snap a picture of us all cuddled up on the couch gawking over High School Musical 3 Zac Efron. It's not long after we all get ready to sleep but not before watching some of the boy's old gigs. I try not to blush while watching Charlie in Charmed, I spend the whole time laughing at Jeremy's performance in "Mr Student Body President". I hear my phone bing and smile as I see the text "Hope you're not having too much fun without us!" attached to a picture of Charlie and Owen making sad faces, man Charlie you're making it hard.
