As 6pm approaches things start to come together, hanging out with Charlie has been amazing as I mentally kick myself for accidentally roping myself into hosting a dinner for practically the whole cast. I let out a nervous breath which Charlie must've noticed as he approaches me "you ok there accent?" He asks, the nickname gives me instant butterflies "yeah I've uh- never hosted a dinner I guess I'm wondering what I got myself into, my mum normally does the cooking" I explain, he rubs my shoulder and my heart speeds up a little. "It'll be great I mean it's smells amazing and you at least look like you know what you're doing" he says with a slight chuckle.

"Thanks maple boy" I respond as he raises an eyebrow at me. "Where'd that come from accent?" He asks laughing, "um you're obsession with maple syrup sir plus it's way more creative than "accent" we all have an accent mines just better than yours, don't hate" I say sassing him. He looks almost taken aback "you got me there is it pretty cute but I don't know if it's better miss" he says edging closer to me, making me take a sharp breath and suddenly all my newfound confidence dissolves and I'm utterly besotted by this attractive man. "Huh I guess we'll see about that" I respond and I swear I see his eyes go to my lips, before either of us can move my apartment door opens and the one and only Owen Patrick Joyner comes in like he owns the place. "Ohh something smells good!-" he says as Charlie and I break apart and I'm red in the face, I see Owen narrow his eyes a little in confusion and then stop. I cough "so I'm gonna go set up the table, Owen hey make yourself at him I say as I give him a hug "sorry for cockblocking" he says as I let go with a wink.

As more of the cast arrive I find myself wondering back to the moment Charlie and I had, is Madi right? That had to be flirting, even Owen could see it. I swallow the nervous lump in my throat and continue with the evening, I loved bonding with the other cast members I love hanging with the boys but Savannah is so so sweet and Booboo, well I'm still shocked to be in same room as him to be honest but he's such a chill guy considering all his success. The timer on my phone goes off and I go and grab the food out of the oven, "hey guys teas ready!" I shout without thinking, "tea?" I hear questioning from the dining area/lounge "oh sorry dinner, my bad" I correct as I carry the dish over placing on the table. I grab the dish of vegetables and begin serving the 6 of us, "be careful though it's just come out the o-" I warn but clearly not quickly enough "ow- hot" says Owen followed by some blowing and gulping down some water. "Really dude?" I hear the guys say, "does anyone want a beer or anything I have a few options" I say grabbing a few bottles out the fridge, "I'll take one" Charlie says. "Me too thanks Jen" Jeremy says. "Oh right here" Booboo says and Owen just gestures still trying to nurse his now burnt mouth. "Sav?" I ask "oh no that's ok water fine" he replies, I grab myself one, I don't really like it but on occasion I'll have one. I go to use a bottle opener and the boys start laughing I look in confusion Charlie gently takes one off me and simply turns the cap off. "Oh yeah right.." I say slightly embarrassed (idk if this is true for all beers)

We all sit down and eventually tuck in as everyone reminisces about boot camp, which honestly from everything I'm hearing sounds super fun. "Yo Jen this is so good" Booboo says to me with a smile, "thanks boo" I reply, "yeah thanks Jen this is awesome" Owen and Jer chime in with Savannah nodding in agreement as Charlie puts his hand on my a "seriously I might have to come to England just for the food, or just have you cook more often" he says with a wink making me, blush again. "Keep dreaming sir I'm no ones personal chef so you better book that plane ticket" I respond sassing him earning a ooo from the boys. "Girl you know I will, which part to you live exactly" he responds with a wink, making me blush once again "uhh sorry are we interrupting because we can go" Owen jokes standing up a little, making the group laugh.
As the night continues and dessert is served everyone starts leaving, starting with Booboo who gave me the biggest hug "it's so nice getting to know you boo I still can't believe I'm in the same room as you" I joke, "you're hilarious just wait until you get your experience you'll be working with the marvel stars, just you wait" he says. I swear that guy could inspire a fish to run, the next to leave is Sav as she has a early dance rehearsal in the morning "thank you so much for coming, you're gonna kill rehearsals seriously your talent amazes me I think I'd pass out after one of your routines after looking like a complete disaster" I say as I give him a hug "oh my gosh you're so nice thank you, believe me it's no walk in the park but I wish I had your eye Jen seriously you spot things I'm completely oblivious to" she responds being the Ray of sunshine that she is. "Oh stop it, but seriously you can come round anytime I'd love to have another girls night if your up for it" I say with a big smile, "oh course! Can't wait, well I gotta go but do me a favour and just kiss the poor boy" she says whispering the last part making me blush for the millionth time before she was waves goodbye to the boys and leaves.

I make my way back to the boys where Charlie and Owen are wrestling on my sofa and Jeremy's sat watching laughing so hard, "hey! Don't mess up my sofa" I half shout. Owen shoots up "sorry mom" he responds before shoving Charlie again and starting another wrestling match only this time they got Jeremy involved. I grab a few of my English snacks and whistle "hey boys! Snacks" I say throwing some their way making them all grab for them and Owen falls off the sofa. "Hey I think you broke Owen" Jeremy says as Charlie helps him back on the sofa. "Guys as much as I love you all, I do not have enough room here for a sleepover" I explain.
"Sorry Jen you're right id better get going but I'll leave you with these two clowns, good luck" Jeremy says sending me a wink before leaving "see ya Jer" I respond feeling a little bad. Owen makes himself comfortable and turns on Netflix while Charlie makes his way over to me "so, want so help tidying up?" He asks making me smile again. "Yes please" I respond.
Charlie helps me wash the plates and put them away while Owen continues to watch Netflix completely oblivious. "So what did you do before you booked this show?" I ask, he looks over at me "uhh I did a few shows in Canada then I did a few roles in some other shows in the U.S but nothing huge, nothing like this project, I mean Kenny is just amazing and uh I'm just so lucky" he explains lighting up when he talks about working with Kenny, and I get it I've never felt so great about a project and the experience with Kenny is just unlike anything I've ever experienced. "What about you?" He asks making me come back from spacing out "uh not a lot I guess I lived with my parents in England they own a Pub, so life is never boring then I went to university and yeah I took a chance applied for this job and here I am" I explain, "wait a pub? Like a bar so you can like work a bar?" He questions "uh yeah I worked there most nights" I respond. "Hey that's awesome too y'know" he says, "not really I'm super boring compared to you guys" I say. "Hey don't say that you're awesome just because you haven't done a tonne of projects doesn't make you boring in fact it makes you incredulous talented that you booked this as your first, you and mads same league super talented ladies" he says genuinely making me feel all warm and fuzzy inside but in great disbelief "uh no way are me and madi in the same bracket that girl is phenomenal her raw talent, her voice is unlike anything" I argue. "Seriously you're super talented in different ways Jen" he says getting closer, I feel out hands touching slightly and I take his in mine, Looking down "thank you Charlie that's incredibly sweet but I'm not sure I believe you" I protest slightly looking up at him, he leans in and I panic a little. Is this it? I lean in and wait for our lips to meet.
I suddenly hear the loudest snore I've ever heard and look over to see Owen completely dead to the world, even in his sleep he's cock blocking. I left out a laugh making Charlie laugh "way to ruin the moment right?" He says making me nod as he leans in again and finally our lips meet.
