"Hey! I thought I just saw you running away, I must be dreaming right?" Blake stopped Topper from running away

"Blake" he stopped right on his tracks when he heard her there "What are you doing here?" he asked her

"Oh what am I doing in the middle of the night in the forest wearing a dress and heels? I thought it was obvious" she told him "I'm daydreaming about being a princess running away from her father that wants to marry her to a filthy king, duh" Blake told him sarcastically

"What?"

"Yeah, what are you doing here is the actual question" she interrupted Topper

"Nothing" Topper replied quickly

"Nothing? It didn't look like nothing to me when you almost killed John b" Blake said

"I didn't" Tooper shook his head

"Oh so he threw himself from up there?" she asked him again sarcastically

"Look Blake, I didn't mean it. The railing just failed it must have been rotten or something!" the boy exclaimed, the smell of alcohol coming from his mouth

"Wait. Are you drunk?" Blake asked the Kook who just stepped back from her, therefore confirming this "What's wrong with you Topper?" she asked him now actually concerned about him

"I...I just don't know okay! Everything is falling apart, Blake. Everything!" Topper exclaimed clearly drunk. He would never say something like that sober

"What?" she asked him

"I knew Sarah was cheating on me. I fucking knew. Ever since that night I told her I loved her and she left" Topper said now starting to cry "I saw them together at Midsummers and it fucking broke me, Blake you can't imagine. I just wanted to see for myself now where would she go this late at night. I wanted to confront him but not kill him!" the blonde boy admitted

"How did you know Sarah was here?" Blake asked. Only the Pogues knew about Sarah meeting John b out there tonight

"I went to her house to apologize about how I spoke to her at the party and Wheezie was covering for her" he replied

"Wheezie?" Blake frowned "Look Topper I-" The girl cut herself off.

She was mad at Topper, of course she was. But he did have a point though. It wasn't the first time Sarah had cheated on her boyfriends and that was something Blake hated about her, but now she actually had a boy that loved her because Topper did and she cheated on him. She couldn't bring herself to yell at Topper because she knew he was actually just a heartbroken boy and what happened was an accident.

"Give me your keys" Blake said

"What?" Topper asked her confused

"There's no way I'm going to let you go back home in this state" she said and the blonde then gave her his keys and together they got into the car.

The ride was silent. There were not anymore words needed between the two of them.

"Do you want me to bring you home or do you want to go to mine and be with Jack?" Blake broke the silence

"Do you mind if I stay at yours? I kinda need a friend and Rafe probably is not the best company right now" Topper replied

"Okay"

Blake drove them to her house where she stopped Topper before he could get out of the car. Looking at her house Blake could see her brother's light meaning he was up and the one in her fathers office, probably her mom looking for something to help her dad.
