Episode 11

"Yuri! Wake up!"

I gasped, grabbing on to Reki's arm that I was some how already leaning on, and he giggled, "We've arrived at our destination, sleepy head!"

"My bed?" I asked.

"No, food!"

I sat up to look out the window. Reki was stuck because I had been leaning on him, but the others were already out and stretching, "I love food." I mumbled, finally letting go of Reki so we could go inside.

Miya got his food first, and me and Reki argued over which combination of meal foods was best while Shadow just kept hitting the same button for cheese burger over and over again on the touch screen menu. Reki moved to the side after he'd finally decided on our orders, claiming he'd pay for us both even though I said that was ridiculous.

"Do you fall asleep in class a lot, Yuri?" Reki asked as I clicked on condiments.

I hummed, "Yeah. My teachers always walk over and lift my desk up until I start to fall off to wake me up.

"Eh?! Really?!" He laughed, "Seems like you're the type to sleep anywhere."

I sweat dropped, "Yeah, I guess so... uh, sorry if I made you uncomfortable in the car."

He blinked, "Oh, no, that was fine." He insisted, as if assuring me that he was never implying that, "You're cute when you sleep."

I blushed and quickly looked back at the screen. Does he realize what he just said?! He-

REKI CALLED ME CUTE!!

Okay, stay calm. Calm, calm, very calm. Zen. I think he just said that without really realizing, because it's not like he knows I'm utterly infatuated with him anyways... right?

I glanced back at him again as my number printed, he was just looking around behind the counter as the workers prepped fries and bagged our food.

Yeah, there's no way he'd realize.

"Reki." Langa called out, I stood just behind him, looking carefully at the male fixing on new wheels, "Are you ready?"

Of course, he turned with a grin, and it made any worry I had disappear, "Yeah! All good!"
"You've got this in the bag, Reki." I added, "I dunno about you, but I'm pumped! My hearts been racing all day."

Reki grinned, "Are you kidding? I could hardly sit still during school. Neither could Langa."

"No, I was fine." Langa replied, to which Reki nor I believed for a second.

"Yeah right!" I laughed as Reki shoved Langa's face to the side, and we all burst out laughing.

"Come on, lets head to the A&W."

You promised. I told myself.

"Thanks, old man!" Reki smiled as we filed in to the back of the tiny pink car again, the three of us squished together.

"Get out." Shadow retorted.

The atmosphere was weird right away, and none of us missed it. Reki leaned forward, "Is everything okay?"

Miya looked away, "Your face is too close."

"Reki, do you not brush your teeth?" Langa asked.

"Of course I do! Salt Crystal tooth paste is my favorite!"

I shut my eyes and pursed my lips as my heart squeezed, he has a favorite toothpaste!

"Just don't eat it." Shadow grumbled, clearly weirded out.
