I'm sorry this took so long I have so much stuff to do but it's okay because this way ya'll get more sk8 content for longer even though... the actual show has ended.

Because of Langa's win against Adam, Cherry's and Shadow's recovery and probably because of my approaching birthday that was always on around a time when people, like my chef brother, were busy with work, my brother decided to put together a nice get together before we all went back to being busy with our regular lives. It was weird to consider it, but we really had spent the last couple weeks slacking off and acting like the only thing we had to do in our lives was skate. I missed a ton of homework and ignored so many lessons, especially when exams were coming up soon, but none of us really cared about that.
Right now, all I cared about was the fact that my brother came over to the house and woke me up by pitching one of my many pillows on my face with a shit eating grin. He dragged me out and over to where Reki said we could do the party - on the roof of his work place.
Fortunately, we weren't the only two for long. Shadow came early too, and even Reki's manager came up and helped my brother bring up the table, some coolers of food and the portable barbeque. I set up every thing once it was there, and luckily it wasn't too windy or too humid. The one thing I did love about my birthday, was that it was always, always the week that had the best weather.
Unfortunately, that was also my demise, because that's when people travelled here and made my brother super busy.
In the end though it was always worth it, because he makes me a fancy ass cake without fail every year.
"Hey, look, it's Langa." Shadow began, and I peered over from the stack of paper plates to the tall male, holding a hand over his eyes as he looked back up to us.
I waved, "Yo! Where's Reki!"
"He slept in! Told me to leave without him. He should be here soon!"
I nodded and turned back to the table as Langa came up the steps. Of course he slept in, but, instead of being annoyed I just wondered what it looked like when he first woke up in the morning. What his voice would be like, still half asleep...
"I'm here!" Miya shouted, and I looked up to see Koaru walk in behind him, "What's for breakfast?!"
"You haven't eaten yet?" Kojiro asked, "What is wrong with you?"
"Unlike you, I don't eat six meals a day."
"I am a very healthy human being. You're too skinny, kid."
"Don't call me kid! I'm thirteen!"
"Definitely a kid."
Miya just seethed in reply, and tapped his foot with crossed arms acting all annoyed. Even still, he was watching Kojiro work the barbeque with very focused eyes and seemed completely satisfied with the food that was being prepared, and I sweat drooped at the sight of them.
Kaoru was standing right beside him, in the exact same position with the exact same face.
Langa walked over to me, "When did they get so close?"
"I have no idea. Beach episode maybe?"
"The beach what?"
"What?"
"What did you just say?"
I rose a brow, "I said the Beach day."
He paused, staring at me, and we went into a silently started staring contest for the next thirty seconds until he decided he forgot what he was talking about, "Need help with anything?"
