Chapter 18

Mali's POV

I was walking alone while swaying lightly as I walked. I am currently listening to Zanzibar with earbuds in. It was November twentieth and quite chilly outside. So I picked out an outfit that consists of a white turtleneck, dark blue sweater, and a pair of black trousers. "Ali dances and the audience applauds. Though he's bathed in sweat he hasn't lost his style. Ali don't you go downtown. You gave away another round for free, Woah!" 

This is when I got into character. I started walking to the beat while swaying even more. "Me, I'm just another face at
Zanzibar. But the waitress always serves a secret smile, Woah. She's waiting out in Shantytown. She's gonna pull the curtains down for me, for me!"

"I've got the old mans car." I looked to see Leo smirking at me. I jumped on her. "I've got a jazz guitar!" We both laughed and I took out my earbuds. After putting them away I looked back at her. "Where were you going and also I'm pretty sure the entire castle heard you." 

"Oh, I was just walking around. Hold on let me text some people to meet us at the Slytherin common room." Leo looked at me confused. "Trust me it'll be fun."

Now we were all here. Aj, Alycia, Cedric, William, Draco, Blaise, Theo, Crabbe, Goyle, Pansy, Valyrie, Lyra, Leo, and Sophia. "Damn this place is cold. What are you looking at William? I could easily be-AH!" We all laughed as Aj got pushed on the couch by William.

When we all calmed down we sat in a comfortable spot. "Wanna know who's really attractive?" Theo spoke to all of us trying to get our attention. Nobody else answered so I did, "Who Theo?" He smirked at me. "The Patil twins." All that could be heard were groans.

"What is your fascination with them?" He shrugged before answering, "I guess I just like twins." Like the Weasley twins or my brothers? Wait ew. That's gross. Don't think about that combination. I shook my head lightly to get those thoughts out of my head.

Suddenly we all heard the steps creaking and looked up to see a group of girls. We all made eye contact with them. "Hello, ladies." I could hear the smirk on William's face. I glared at him, he just got out of a toxic relationship. I am not trying to have another one of those incidents. "Goodbye ladies."

When they left the common room talking amongst themselves, William turned back to me. "Oh come on. Don't be a cockblock." I gawked at him. "Sir! You just got out of a relationship!" He rolled his eyes. "Sorry superhomiehotbrobabe number one but I agree with Mali."

Williams mouth drops as he looks at Leo, "You're taking her side?!" She nods. "Then hand my sunglasses back" Leo sucked in her cheeks before standing up. "Never!" That's when she ran away, William hot on her trail. Everybody but me watched this all go down while I played with Draco's rings.

I moved my head back so it was resting on his shoulder. He finally looked over at me. "What's up" was all he whispered. "I'm gonna die because you didn't give me enough kisses today. None at all in fact." I pouted at him and he only chuckled. I turned around and tucked my legs to my chest. I looked at him silently asking for kisses.

"What's the magic word?" I smirked at him, "Abracadabra." He only flicked my forehead and turned me around. I then stood up, walked to the middle of the room and pointed to my cheek. "Spare kisses anyone?" Theo was the first to get up, then Sophia and Lyra. Theodore gave me a forehead kiss, Lyra gave me a nose kiss, and Sophia gave me a cheek kiss.

"Wow, I get so many kisses and ladies. Well and Theo. Draco you need to step up your game now." I then walked to Aj and flopped on him. He only flicked my forearm until I got back up. I scowled at him and walked to William who gave up trying to get his sunglasses back. I looked up at my giant brother and raised my arms.

"No." I didn't move. "Fine." He picked me up and I chuckled. "I am the clingiest person here. Deal with it." He shook his head while watching Leo taunt him.

I shall now list the best reasons for being the shortest in a friend group.
Number one, You feel very protected even though you can beat a bitch up if you needed too.
Number two, You can always be carried. This is a major pro when you are also the clingiest person in the group.
Number three, You're never asked to grab stuff for your friends since they most likely put it too high.

That is all I was able to get through before I was handed off to another person. I looked at Draco who looked unamused. "You should have given m-" I was cut off by the portrait door slamming open. There stood two people. One with long platinum blond hair who looked rude, THEN AN ABSOLUTE GODDESS, THE BLACK HAIR WITH PLATINUM STRIPS OF HAIR! MWAH! HER BODY LOOKED SNATCHED AS WELL!

Draco then dropped me and I hissed in pain. He bent down after realizing what he did. "Oh sorry love, you okay?" I nod and hold my hands up. He grabs them and pulls me up. I watch as the Elsa doll looked at me unpleased. The goddess looked at me with a slight smile.

"Everybody this is my mum and father." I looked in between them while holding up my pointer finger. "You came from that and that mixed together? Must of got your looks from your mom's side." Draco's eyes got huge as he tries keeping in a laugh. Everybody but Elsa was trying to stop a laugh.

"Mum, Father, this is my girlfriend Mali Carharrt." Mrs Malfoy sent me a little wave and a smile. I smiled as I walked over to her. "I'm sorry but I really have to say this, you're a whole babe. Like fine as -excuse my language- FUCK. So fine. Draco I'm about to be hitting on your mom." He only slapped his forehead.

"Thank you dear. Lucius say hello, don't be rude." I turned to my right. "You are a member of the Carharrt family?" I nod and then he walks away. Pfft- I'll make him my bestie. I just know I will.
