Chapter 1

Mali's POV

It was the first day of classes for my third year. I'm worried to go out today though. Over the summer I had a major glow-up. My hair isn't in a tight afro anymore it's flowy and long. I learned about skincare so my skin cleared up nicely. I also lost weight by working out and eating good meals.

   I worked very hard for that hourglass body. My best friend, Sophia, says that I should update my wardrobe. I'm not so sure about that, I quite like my current clothes. She says I look like a mom most of the time. I beg to disagree.

I am currently putting on a gold necklace by my full body mirror. I glanced over my robe for the last time then walk over to my scuffed white converse. I sat on my four-poster bed and started putting on my shoes.

"Mali! Miss thing can you hurry up, I want the best spot at the table." I looked up to see a stunning Sophia Trinity. She has long brown hair that reaches her shoulders. A green right eye and a blue left eye. Those eyes right now were staring right at me.

"Yeah, one second let me just fix my laces." I fixed them, grabbed my school bag, and skipped over to her. She hooked her arm with mine and we made our way downstairs to the Hufflepuff common room.

I was walking the corridor with Sophia when I hit someone. "God damn, who's chest is that hard. Like what the fuck."  I looked up after saying that to see a smirking Draco Malfoy. Merlin, he had the biggest glow-up I have ever seen.

"Should I take that as a compliment?" I looked him up and down then looked back at his eyes. "Yes, you should, like Merlin you got hit by a train called glow-up. Sophia look at this shit!"

I heard snickering and looked to see Theodore Nott trying to keep his laugh in. I turned to Sophia who practically had heart eyes while looking at Blaise Zabini. Heh, his last name sounds like Zucchini. After watching her I flipped my head to stare at a scowling Draco.

I followed his eyes to discover the golden trio walking down our way. They didn't seem interested in us. "Look it's Four eyes, the poor sidekick, and the mudblo-" before he could finish I slapped the back of his head with a thin book. He looked shocked then he got even more shocked. "Finish that word and I will hex your nuts off. Now if you will excuse me, I want to get some breakfast. Let's go Soph."

Draco's POV

I watched as she walked away with her little friend. Potter, Weasel, and Granger were watching with smirks on their face. I rolled my eyes and made my way to the Great Hall. My hands in my trouser pockets, and hair slightly messy. Theo and Blaise not far behind.

She just won't leave my mind now. Nobody ever had the guts to ever do such a thing to me. I like it. When we almost arrived at the Great Hall, I see Luna. I walk over to her, she notices me and smiles. "Hey Lunes, any pesky nargles around?" She pats my head and pursed her lips.

"Luna! Why aren't you in there already? Oh, it's you again, hello." I looked to see the probably barely five-foot girl. She was holding a red apple and looking in between us.

"Why hello Mali. I was going to be in shortly just saying hi to Draco" I was knocked out of my trance by Luna's dreamy voice. She nodded then made a few seconds of eye contact with me before walking back in. She had the most gorgeous brown eyes in the sunlight.
