3. Act three

17 years ago
"In five, four, three, two...this is Jim Hellerman, reporting live for channel 2 news outside of the capital West Bank at main and sixth. A group of heavily armed men stormed the bank not three hours ago, and took an unknown number of hostages."

In the bank...
"Hey, get them behind the counter!" " now you've put me in a position where I gotta do something I don't want to do. Hmm?" " shit!" The man with the walkie talkie argued. The man was entering the room full of innocent people scared out of their lives thinking this may be the last time they will live. A young Allison came along ready for action, bouncing on her toes innocently.

The man taking a glance at her "hey, get back with the others." Allison bowed her head down and before you knew it "I heard a rumor" the man starting to get angry "what? What did you say?" Allison grinned mischievously therefore placing her hand beside her mouth and repeated. Her voice echoing "I heard a rumor that you shot your friend in the foot." The man's eyes turned a light shade of white.

He raises his gun towards his friends foot "hey, dude." That's when he fired at his friend causing the men to fall and shoot glass behind him."what the hell?" He groaned.

News reporter-" we just heard shots from inside the bank. It's uncertain if any hostages have been harmed in that." Someone pointed out "up there!" The camera man obviously pointed to the roof top. Being Luthers sudden movement. News reporter-" there's some movement on the roof. Possibly law enforcement."

Suddenly, Luther came from the glass roof top with a mini Alyssa in his arms, shattering glass everywhere. He carefully set her down "thanks Luther, now show them what your made of" Luther grinned at his sweet sister. Punching this one man with his super strength, throwing him through the window with all his force. Alyssa stood behind the counter next to the person she loves Five. Both their hands tangled onto one another.

Diego came forward aiming towards his target. "Guns are for sissies. Real men throw knives". He flung his knives that's flew straight and curved along the side, stabbing one of the bank robbers.

The man with the walkie talkie from earlier came in regretting his action. "get back you freaks." His shakily voice came out not the so strong man he was or at least thought he was. Panicking. He stood on the counter terrified.

"hey, be careful up there, buddy." Diego having the same smirk on his face. The man shouted back " get back now!" Swinging his gun towards the children. "Yeah, Wouldn't want you to get hurt" spoke up Allison with her mischievous smile on her lips.

"Or what?" Five spatial jumped behind the man with a grin on his face showing his dimples. He hoped he had shot five, but instead shot the counter multiple times.

As soon as the man sensed fives presence behind him, he turned around fast, five standing their with his arms crossed. The bank robber trying to shoot at five instead had a stapler in his hands, the stapler clicked, and clicked. Unfortunately it did the man no good.

Five just looked at the stapler, knowing it wouldn't hurt him. "Ooh! That's one badass stapler!" Five grabbed his arm shoving the stapler on his forehead, blood dripping from his forehead causing him to faint. Five returning to Alyssa, tangling his hand to hers.

Every time he touched her it made her heart beat faster. She just loved the way she could feel his skin on hers it drove her crazy.

Their was a loud  gunshot from behind them. Coming their way almost taking a shot towards her brother Diego. Alyssa Stopping the bullet from coming Diego's way " hey! You should be careful next time, you could have killed someone." she simply grabbed the bullet that was still floating in the air, turned the bullet around towards the guy and let it go making its way to him.

Ben. Poor Ben he looked terrified he didn't like using his ability. Ben didn't like the view of his ability. "Do we really have to do this?" "come on, Ben. There's more guys in the vault." Alyssa couldn't help but roll her eyes at Luther. Alyssa approached her brother. "I know you can do it Ben, it's going to be ok. I know how you feel Ben and it's ok to feel that way, do you want someone to go with you?" Alyssa hugged the poor boy and pulled away from the hug while smiling at him. Ben sadly smiled back.

"Thanks Lia, but I'm on my own on this one" He sighs "I didn't sign up for this." He started walking towards the door opening it, and closed it. Five looked at Alyssa and smiled at her. Believe it or not Five loved when she was sweet thats what he loved about her the most. He also loved her mischievous side. The children getting a horrid view of the vault. Bens view the most horrid.

Long, huge tentacles swinging around, splattering blood in the room, smashing bodies against the blurry windows covering it with blood, the beast growling.

When Ben came out the vault he had blood all over him. He sighed Ben breathes shakily, frightened. "can we go home now?" Alyssa went to go hug him "I knew you could do it Benny." And kissed her loving brother's cheek.

News reporter-" people are coming out now. It's not the armed robbers. These are young schoolchildren in uniforms with masks on." Men-" lower your weapon!" News reporter- Jim Hellerman, channel 2 news.

The children were all standing in front of cameras at the moment, bunch of people were asking so many questions. "How did you get in the bank?" "What happened inside?" And so forth.

Reginald Hargreeves standing in front of the cameras with the children behind him. Except vanya. Father didn't think she was special. Alyssa thought different. Vanya was good enough. she was special to Alyssa they didn't have a close friendship but Alyssa loved vanya with all her heart. Sometimes Alyssa wanted to punch her father in the face for being a monster to Vanya.

"our world is changing. Has changed, there are some among us. Gifted with abilities far beyond the ordinary. I have adopted seven such children."

"I give you the inaugural class of The Umbrella Academy."

Alyssa didn't like the attention she just wanted to go home and get some rest.

" Mr. Hargreeves! Mr. Hargreeves. Channel 9 news. What happened to their parents?" " they were suitably compensated" sir Reginald Hargreeves answered.

" are you concerned about the welfare of the children?" " of course. As I am for the fate of the world."
